The requirements I saw on IRCC website is a bit confusing, there will be part were they will say required and the same time optional am a. It confused about it.if you have submitted please share the requirements.thanks

If you are in UK, I think you can submit at VFS UK. Please get more information about that before doing anything.

If otherwise, Looking at your timeframe, go directly to VFS Abuja not dhl, you will get your passport within an average of 3days

So if you have gotten your AOR, simply apply for TRV and once you get to Canada, you can then apply for a work permit while your sponsorship application is ongoing. This information is based on the new policy. You can do your own findings as well.

My eligibility was for 3 months.

Or is it because i am already in pool for PR under Spousal sponsorship?

Yea, it is due to the new announcement. You should get a decision within a month. Please keep us posted when you get passport request.

No, For TRV, you get a biometric instruction letter within a day or two of submitting your visiting visa application. It doesn't matter the purpose of visit.

However, for those with an existing PR acknowledged application, IRCC has promised that your VV application will be attended to within 30 days.

I uploaded my NiN and also uploaded my Drivers’s Licence which has an expiration date.you will need to write a lettter of explanation telling them that the nin issued to Nigerians doesn’t have an expiration date hence the Drivers’s Licence

I arrived Canada on a TRV on the 22nd of June. Still awaiting update on Eligibility and Background verification for SS Application.

Please do you mind sharing your application process and timelines. I'm planning to submit a spousal PR application before the year runs out and like some details and tips from someone who has gone through this route.

I will advise you check this guy’s page on YouTube “hit and submit canada” the guy gives a well detailed explanation on spousal application. Watch most of his updated videos on the application process and thank me later. I used his format when i did mine. i am only waiting for medical request.
