Good morning Guys, please I need help. My first application was rejected within two weeks of application. I studied engineering and applied for a masters in engineering after 6years of graduation. (Tho I haven't been working in my field, but I kind of linked my whole process with work(in my SOP),stating that I'm currently work in a fast growing farm as a engineer in charge of piping systems, priming of generator n any other engineering related job you can find in a farm. Truth is,the farm is my Dad's, but I didn't state this while applying. I used the farm cos since it is ours,it will be a lot easy to provide any assistance. Please Note(the farm has no CAC document, but provides steady n good income. My dad is my primary sponsor and I submitted application with POF of 15m and 4kCAD as deposit. Now these are the reasons for rejection.
1. The V.O isn't convinced I'll return to my country after my 2 years study.
2. That I say I work and yet didn't submit any payslip, invoice tax nor bank statement in my name
3. No family ties outside Canada
4. Insufficient funds.
Please Guys,I need help on how to tackle these concern of the V.O please πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
please help me oohπŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

The VO has even helped you with things you didn't do so it's left for you to do them right.

1. That's because you don't have any strong economic tie back home. You have nothing you are looking forward to in your home country. You obviously didn't do justice to explain how the program you are doing will help boost your job in the farm which you tried to use as your asset but failed to back it up with proper docs like payslips etc.
Your father being your full sponsor when you have worked for years is a huge red flag. Your dad also doesn't have legal docs like receipts, cac docs to back up his source of income.

2. This one is clear. You have to include all that plus you can't possibly have worked for years and haven't saved a dime to sponsor yourself even as a cosponsor. That's red flag. It simply means that your job doesn't have strong economic value hence you wudnt return to it.

3. What did you state as family ties in Nigeria. You probably didn't do enough.

4. Summary of 1 and 2.

Infact apart from failing to back up your claims with legal documents, it's obvious your SOP was very faulty.
Your dad being your sponsor, what did you even do to prove relationship with sponsor? Was there sponsorship letter? Birth certificate? Etc

Well, thanks for the response. My dad owns a farm that fetches him millions monthly, tho he has no CAC document. He also has estates that equally fetch him money quarterly or yearly. He also worked in the oil and gas sector for 35years with good pension payment. I haven't been working in my field after graduation (engineering),just doing business and I can not say I have any money in my acct to show for 4-6months as savings, cos I basically use the money to do other stuffs. I did explain all I had to on my SOP,guess it didn't do much. I only submitted work recommendation letter and nothing more, perhaps I should have added more or something. Anyhow sha,I appreciate your comment, but I think what I really need right now is a way I can tackle the V.O's concern. As for receipts and documents as per my dad's source of funds,we can tender that(of cos excluding the CAC,cos he doesn't have). And I think the prove of fund is due to my total tuition of bout 20 something million,so probably will top it. I'm most concerned bout how to tackle the employement proof and hometies+ the doubt the V.O has concerning my return. I'll be most grateful if u can proffer solutions. Thanks

Think the biggest economic home tie you can use is saying you are coming back after the program to manage the farm that your dad has retired from work after working for 35years, settled into the fair business and having managed it for years, wants to retire from the farm business and hand over the mantle to you.
If you can provide receipts, invoices, waybills etc of many years back, that will stand as evidence the business has been in operations for years even without a cac doc.

Your dad will still be your home ties, also you will use your Dad estates as your ties that you are managing those assets currently and we will make up evidence to back this up by showing where you signed off rental receipts issued to tenants, rental increment notice and repairs on assets. This is from my own personal experience in my application. So you will look forward to returning to those roles after your study.

Then you will have to work out your employment letter, payslips etc. Then finally rework and repackage your sop
Send me a DM let me see your SOP and supporting docs you submitted. Then you can take it up from there

Hello beautiful people,
Thanks for all the good work.

My husband is into Christain ministry. He studied mechanical engineering as his undergraduate program but got called into ministry. He has however over the years worked in different capacities in Christain Ministry and done short term certificate courses in Nigeria, Ghana and Australia.
He has published two books in Christain Ministry.
He is self employed and also does many non profit projects in Christian Ministry.
He wants to go for Masters in Theology now.
We are a family of 7 and intend to travel together

He inherited many real real estates from his late father 7 years ago and some from his late brother 2 years ago.
His major source of income is RENTS from these real estate which runs into millions yearly
Asides deed of lease and conveyance, survey plan. What other documents can we use to prove that rents are paid? Pls note that the tenants are up to or more than 30 individual families, so I don't know wether it makes sense to upload all their invoices, receipts, agreement etc considering the file would be to large

Pls do advise on what document to upload for proof of financial means

Also is 35milliom sufficient for a family of 7 with school fees for 2 years being 21,000CAD?

Is there anyone willing to help us go through our 9 pages SOP?

I will appreciate responses.pls do not just scroll by πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½
Thanks in advance

Tuition = 21,000
PA Living Exp= 10,000
Other dependants = 19,000
Flight tickets = 7,000
Miscellaneous = 10,000
Total = 67,000 that will be about N23,225,000

However, it is always good to have buffer on the amounts, so your N35mm is okay. That being said, you will need to draft a very strong SOP that will be able to explain your circumstances.

- He needs to show documents that proves he inherited the properties and then docs to show the rental agreement that will further prove he earns the rents
- Get the documents that will show the payments, and since the documents will be much, you can use the old portal to apply.

All the best.

honestly not everything you should rely on someone to do for you. You can actually do this yourself. Your phone doesn't have google? Please, I don't mean any harm, but kindly use your phone on this particular matter. All the best.
