I have a relative in the UK on student visa. While filling my form, I was asked what type of visa it is. Is student visa temporary or permanent?

Is it possible I apply for the courier service and paid in-person on the day of biometric

2. Yes

Rules are changing in Jan 2024 regarding MA switching before end of studies, it targets switching to skilled workers visa but may also affect switching to other visa category

You only need to submit your reference/employment/confirmation/promotion letter if you need to show evidence of study gap

Study gaps refers to gaps of more than 5years since your last degree

Your bank statement is valid for 31days so you must attend your biometrics before the 31st day of printing it


Where that falls between doing it same month or the next month doesn't matter and that decision is entirely yours

Best advice is to submit your documents as close enough to your biometrics day

Remember your POF is for your study in the UK

See the new OANDA rate. This has thwarted a lot of schedules especially those keeping POF for CAS and visa application.
I think the UK Home office should understand and consider old rate for Nigerians at least in this month of June. After all, some schools in UK reduced their tuition deposits for Nigeria when they got to know that tuition fee payment through form A is now a maximum of £6000.
