Bro. I so much respect your style and views but please try and criticize objectively. I have noticed you fault most of his calls and even when they came great. No thumbs for it. Do not discourage those dropping calls. We keep learning. Stop loss hitting is no big deal.
People claiming 100% outcome are my only problem. Whoever has been in this fx of a thing and is true to his or herself will know shit happens.

Whoever dropped a call before it happens do not deserve to be embarrassed irrespective of the outcome.

On the competition too, the fact that some people struggle do not mean that is their best. Competition is different from proper prop firm trading.
The examples are many to mention one person.

Abeg help me tell them. And the huge problem is that, they will never drop any chart to show their own biase, all they know is to show their result whenever they are in profit without showing us their chart before the market move; but the moment they see another traders call go negative, they will start preaching end time message under your post. grin

Aah! Bro, there are a lot of things to do to stack the odds in your favour, some of these goes back to the very building blocks of Technical Analysis itself;
1. Markets move in TRENDS.
that's the most crucial!

2. Markets are FRACTAL in nature.
This means that these TRENDS are multiple, and of varying degrees, but all still being the same in nature. Understand this and you'd understand that each degree of trend exerts a force on another degree of trend weaker than itself(this is nature), so you must respect each trend in it's own right.

3. HISTORY REPEATS itself.
Meaning that these TRENDS are always in motion till infinity, never stopping.
Newton's First law of Motion.
This is why there will always be another setup coming.

Having grasp of these knowledge and how to use them effectively means me stacking the odds in my favour. Applying the concepts come down to;
1. Trading with the TREND, this can be any of the countless trends always available. Now when you've chosen one to trade with check for a higher degree of trend that is immediately stronger than the one you're actually trading, recognise it's boundaries and respect them (this is MULTIPLE TIMEFRAME ANALYSIS)
2. Trade with support and resistance.
These are the boundaries of both the trend you're trading and those of the higher degree trend you've got to respect. Don't let your targets violate the bigger trend's convenience.

These are but just the foundations, there are many other variables, including those of your Psychology as a trader, which you have to train yourself in, personally.
When you've got all those put together, it defines your trader's EDGE in the markets; now that's you stacking MOST odds in your favour.

We recognise that there are still more variables present in the markets which we've got no idea about (if we did, we'd have been as gods in the markets and there would never be losses), and that's why you would still be wrong sometimes, but knowing you've got the EDGE, you'd be at peace even with the markets.

Oh no no no! You've got me wrong Sir, I do give him a pat on the back when he takes a good call (check again, for real), I don't attack anyone who drops trade calls here, haba I how draining that is naw😲
The only thing I was disputing was him using the emotion: 'HOPE' in his trade (according to him), I wasn't actually attacking his call, NO.

Last I questioned his call was on an instrument I was equally watching and on the same TMF so I spoke up because even though he took the right direction, I felt he entered to fast (he did got taken out), then he entered again, this time at good level, I was happy about this and when he took profit, I congratulated him.
The trade call of today, I was just wondering why his bias changed, cos I wasn't seeing any reason on my own, then I saw the word 'HOPE', and I felt this would simply make him give back his money to the markets. Understand I'm not undermining him in any way as a trader, if anything, I want him to be even better, that's what we doing here right?

I'm not hating, no. I actually like the guy cos he's trading a TMF I'm familiar with, and a lot of times I've noticed he goes with the market's flow. If you notice, I hardly respond to others person's trade calls apart from @peteregwu whom my approach blends with.

Yet still, I'm human and bound to err, so to any trader here who feels attacked by me through my writeups, this was never intention, and I'm sorry. To those whom I might make feel that way going forward, I'm sorry in advance...lolsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Thank you for your response. I appreciate that. More strength to us all.
I am not saying one should not comment on trade calls but it should be objective like if I made a buy call. You can tell why you think its a sell and all that.

THIS WEEK WASNT BAD... WE GO AGAIN NEXT WEEK...

5 trades this week.

Day 1 - 46 pips loss

Day 2 - 70 pips profit

Day 3 - 93 pips profit

Day 4 - 93 pips profit

Day 5- 46 pips loss

Total profits 70 + 93 + 93 = 256 pips profit

Total loss = 46 + 46 = 92 pips

Closing profit = 256 - 92 = 164pips profit

Risking 0.46 % per trade with 0.1 lots...

Profit for the week = 1.64%

Max. Profit attained this week. = 2.1%

Max loss in a row = -0.46 %

D. D from initial starting balance = - 0.46%

Trading can be interesting, from last two weeks to last week, I took 5 positions and had 5 losses in a row , this thing has never happened for a very long time . I lost about
5.3%, I didn't question my strategy cuz I noticed that most of the lost trades could have ended being breakeven trades, I'm wired my mind in such a way that 1:5Rr or nothing.

This week came with lots of banger, took 4 positions on Gj and GU won all with at least 1:4RR, the problem I encountered this week was psychological problem due to previous loses, I started contemplating of wether to breakeven immediately the trade hit 1:2 or reduce my rr to 1:3, that's devil speaking. The demon we face as traders. With lots of numbers coming up this week I knew it's gonna end well, made 1;18RR only this week, I must say that it can only be God.
I pray that Fed should continue to leave the interest rate without hiking, Bank of Japan wants to finish Yen.

Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 23 by Donsheddy: 3:22pm On Jun 16, 2023

THIS MATTER NO EASY... I FEEL ITS TIME TO TAKE THIS TO ANOTHER LEVEL ALL THANKS TO ONE OF OUR BOSSES HERE THAT HAVE BEEN SUPPORTING ME AND HELPING ME WITH MY TRADING JOURNEY AND GROWTH...

Report after 5 Weeks...
Week 1 - 2.1% profit
Week 2 - 1.8% profit
Week 3 - 0.88% loss
Week 4 - 0.72 profit
Week 5 - 1.67 profit...

Total - 5.38%

Now ive gotten some level trust in the way i trade....
I noticed my biggest problem was over trading and not sticking to rules.....
Thats why i started this journal here that way i won't deviate.....
And have accurate record since i know the world and my bosses are following me up.......

Next Week i wil start my journey with myfundedfx.....
I will post screenshot of my starting balancing and closing balance everyday...
This will help me to remain decipline....

I will reduce my risk per trade...

I will be using 0.04 lots instead of 0.1...
Which means i will start by risking 0.19% per trade .....

Since the account is unlimited...
Im not rushing against time....

Any day i reach 2% i increase my lot size to 0.06...

Journey starts on Monday

The details change but the name remains the same and that is why history rhymes. There is a quote " Details matter", what is the point of me anticipating a bull market if i dont know the different bull patterns.

Mark Twain was not a trader but his words has being used by traders from time immemorial. Infact alot of things in life have being used by traders. Just like we have cycles in life e.g birth and death, we also have cycles in forex/stocks which is called business cycle. There are price fluctuations with your everyday goods and services in the market, the thing with forex/stockes trading is that you can see those price fluctuations on a chart.
