Safety First. The safety of the lives of the occupants of these distressed buildings is far more important. I applaud Lagos for preserving the lives of potential victims of distressed buildings in such a densely populated place. Kudos to Lagos. Our Lagos, Our rules! May God bless Nigeria for ever! Alabaintprice:Thank you sir. Lagos will always do the right thing no matter whose ox is gored. His ilk who want to spoil Lagos will eventually leave Lagos and return home with nothing. Absolutely nothing and even poorer than they came to Lagos because they will not be blessed by Lagos, a land they wish evil. The earlier they leave Lagos for their state to do as they like, the better for them. Eko o gba gbere o! 125 Likes 14 Shares |

Charles Soludo is demolishing buildings in Anambra, i guess he's also targeting ibos in Anambra. It is the height of hypocrisy to want Anambra to look ultra modern but want other regions to look like a slum. 137 Likes 14 Shares |

bhella10:There is no purging here , this is a safety issue that must be taken seriously . The building will be brought down and a new one will be erected . The same Igbos will still rent it. There are hundreds of Yoruba people making a living too in that market so any decision that the Lagos state government takes as regard this market will also affect the indigines 20 Likes 5 Shares |

EcoNews:With all eyes on lagos, one thing they shouldn't forget is that there are yorubas in other parts of the country too. And it wont be nice if other regions replicate the gesture and start seeing the yorubas as destitutes whose structures must be demolished 3 Likes 4 Shares |

Why do government wants to demolish houses belonging to the true indegens? If you check closely, those houses are owned by I stand on your mandate people. Well if government should carry out their plan, they better get the landlords paid, before you will here that, it's because of the Igbos they demolished it. |
