OlawaleBammie: that still leaves the questions unanswered. Is this the first time we are seeing this in Nigeria? In 2015, buhari stopped all contracts he inherited from Jonathan "till further notice". Many state governors upon assuming office freeze all government accounts. what is now special about Tinubus directive to CBN? |

I think I concur with Rev father Mathew Kukah who was reported to have said that amongst the three major contenders for the presidency, PBAT is the only prepared candidate because he has been nursing the ambition since 1993 after MKO Abiola was denied the seat. You can only give what you have. I think PBAT understands the game... politically and economically. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Opinedecandid: see the country is in so much debt...so I believe he is trying to make sure he maximizes income....and minimizes cash outflows as much as possible.... so there will hardly be salary padding in the MDAs or unnecessary spending in this man's government.... you will get your entitlement and nothing more....cos every kobo counts at this moment in time... if you find anyone complaining about him in MDAs ....that person na thief ... we go enjoy to some extent, discipline & accountability in this government... this is the same thing ....peter obi would likely do but I personally believe obi doesn't have the charisma like tinubu.... Tinubu get alot of padi padi across the nation in different zones unlike obi....so to spoil him government go hard.... so I conclude that if tinubu wan do good ..he go see am do....if he wan do bad ...he go see am do...cos of the big political stature he has garnered over the years 3 Likes 1 Share |

dre11:Lol. Tissue of lies to titillate zombies. I must doff my hat for the Tinubu media moguls for how they keep planting stories in different local and foreign media to shore up the image of the new govt while the man gets his bearings. The zombies' pockets keep drying up while they read stories like this to keep their attention away from their Lord's induced suffering. It's just like being given renewed dope. I mean hope. A LESSON FOR ME AND EVERYONE I had personal conversations with Tinubu in my revelation prior to election. He said to me that he had good intentions to fix Nigeria and not to inflict sufferings on average Nigerians. The speculations hovering around that season that he has lost his memory and may not function optimally as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria made me delve into the ocean of deception. I have learnt my lessons. Never will I allow unverified propaganda to make disbelieve what I strong believe again. As for Mr Peter Obi, going by the statistics of youths that cast their votes in the February 25 General elections, we will say “ We love you”. But please rest for now and allow the Lord’s Chosen Mr Tinubu to concentrate maximally on what God has ordained to do at this time. A lesson for everyone! Never judge a book by its cover. The book may have good contents that the supposedly good cover may never have. By Anthony Omotoso 4 Likes 1 Share |

lexy2014: How does stopping contracts relate to stopping salary payments due to salary padding? You think everyone on Nairaland think with emotional blackmail? Would you have preferred salary padding to go on unchecked? No be everything you go dey condemn. Criticisms are good. But constructive ones are better 4 Likes 1 Share |

lexy2014:There is no such directive. The paper is publishing lies to keep zombies'attention away from the fact they are suffering. Did you see anyone's name in the op? Just assistant director, staff, source. It's just lies. There's nothing like that. It's Tinubu media planted news. |

Resurrection212:This is Nigeria, Those advising him will soon get stuck .Tinubu is an internationally known druggie and a billion van thief. Sacking or suspending people up and down won't save him. We all Saw how he bribe his way to get the Apc ticket and how Buhari tried to Stop him from emerging. But very soon the table will turn. |

Acekidc4:True. I was in the Office of President in Aso Villa in September, 2018 and the whole place was crowded with people without doing anything more than just coming and going; sitting down and standing posing and posturing as public officials collecting salaries and allowances. 90% of them were from the North. Corrupt and incompetent spongers. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Epistasis:come on! Stop that! Don't be too wicked mr man. I have asked a lot of people why they see Peter obi as their savior, they couldn't give me a tangible answer. As for me, I don't expect much from any politician, they all lie and deceive, and none is corruption free. One thing that baffles me is why the hatred for "President Bola Ahmed Tinubu" is too much, i can't just fathom where that hatred is coming from, and everybody is free to love, admire or follow any politician he or she desires without attracting hatred from others with different opinions. 3 Likes |
