Those countries are doing that deliberately and also because they fear you Nigerians . You and I know Ghanaians don't regard Nigerians talkless Kenyans.

The strategy they are using here is simple.

They want to project Nigeria over all countries in West Africa then later project their various countries above Nigeria so what that then means is No country in West Africa is worth compared to their countries
And as the saying goes, what a Ghanaian see's while seated a Nigeria will never see even when on an iroko tree.

The average Nigerian is interested in praise singing than actual truth so we understand you grin.

Cut the cr@p Already!

Nigeria remains a ZOO to our face, but that doesn't change the fact that she is a regional powerhouse in west Africa. Check tech startup funds for both regional power. Check top startups for both regional power, check number of tech hubs for both. Ghana or Tz are nothing. And this is not to praise any country, it's just stating fact!

That's pure delusion and that's what made Buhari to close your borders which amounted to nothing.
If there is any country that catches cold when another sneezes that should be Nigeria. When we close down your shops it becomes a topical issue in nigeria.

Wait till the day we close our borders to you, you will weep very well

Which shops? Did you not see your minister begging Nigeria there? grin

The answer is right in that video. Ask yourself why he chose to pick Kenya and South Africa for comparison. It's because he acknowledges the dominance of Kenya and SA in the continent. I've also seen several videos of him comparing Kenya, Nigeria, and SA. Ghana being in the shadow of Nigeria, it has to be mentioned once in a while.
He doesn't recognize any Kenya

Go and watch his videos, he always ask questions about Nigeria Ghana South Africa and sometimes Kenya.

That's not even the reason I posted the video. I wanted you to know how irrelevant Kenyans are to Ghanaians

All this are diplomatic means to cushion the effect on informal sector that has Nigeria market as their target .

Something similar was raised by gbajabiamila ( Nigeria former house of representatives leaders when some nigerians shops were under lock in Ghana.

Even gbajabiamila has to come to Ghana. To engaged in diplomatic begging . Or you want to me to post you the article .
Your minister was begging Nigeria to reopen the borders. grin That's different from ghanaians closing shops belonging to Nigerian traders inside Ghana. Ghana does not even share borders with Nigeria, yet your minister was begging. grin

Another bullshit from insane nigerians. Even your border closure didn't affect Benin republic ( the most projected country you guys say will feel the effect , it is rather on the opposite . Many nigerians doing inter country buisness were forced to look for alternative and become jobless.

Benin was still able continue with civil salary payment ( it wasn't so in some state in Nigeria.

Benin was still able to continue with some infrastructure ( yet some Nigeria big project were abandoned along the line .

CFA has gain more value that naira over the past two years now .

When Nigeria sneeze , it catches cold alone pls
Even Benin people can not say this. The weeping was from benin to far away Ghana. grin
This one is so desperate he is even comparing infrastructural projects in benin with Nigeria. grin

why gbajabiamila ( Nigeria house of representatives leaders) had move a whole envoy to Ghana jubliee house to meditate on the shops lockdown . How do you see that. We are talking about envoys on behalf of Nigerian. Our minister was only using his voice note a team . Nigeria came with a team to beg

The Minister is only doing the same work Nigeria gbajabiamila came to do earlier, the only difference is , he is not doing it aggressively like gbajabiamila

You closed your borders unannounced which got some Ghanaian trucks loaded with goods stacked at your borders. What was the minister suppose to do? All she did was to tell your government to open the borders for Ghanaian trucks to cross. That's diplomacy not begging

What at all do Ghanaians export or import to Nigeria that will make Ghana beg your miserable country to open its borders for?

Brother, you are not getting it. It happened inside Ghana and was targetted at Nigerians. It's like the Ghana Must Go debacle which also happened inside Nigeria and was targetted at ghanaians.

Border closure happened between Nigeria and neighbouring countries. Ghana is not Nigeria's neighbor. There are two countries between them. grin Ghana wasn't supposed to catch that kind of cold but it did and your minister was begging. grin

Does Nigeria share border with Ghana when your minister started behaving immediately when Nigeria's own goods were threatened by reference?

So when you close shops of Nigerian traders in Ghana, how do you think it affects Nigerian economy? It makes no sense.

However, closing border with Benin was clearly a problem to the Ghanaian economy. It's like comparing apples to oranges here.
Femi Gbajabiamilla did what he did not because it affects the Nigerian economy but simply as a means of diplomacy to show care for Nigerian people in other lands.

I can show you examples of how our closed borders affected Ghanaian economy and traders in Ghana. Can you show me how closed shops in Ghana affected Nigerian traders in Nigeria?

You closed your border , Ghana only lost Nigeria market , we close Nigeria shops we have locked down many household means of surviving . One is definitely a bigger blow. Solve the riddles.

Ask him to list just 3 things Ghanaians export/import from Nigeria that will cause Ghana to beg them to open their borders.

The last time I checked Nigeria wasn't on Ghana's Top 5 trading partners in Africa so what's that cold he is talking about?

it directly affect Nigeria household those who depends on the chain of value that emanate from Ghana buy and sells . I.e those who depends on the Nigeria individual back home. That is a bigger stab . Closing Nigeria shops in Ghana means you have place some nigerians household member in poverty. It is simple common sense.

Closing border wasn't a problem at all, as it gives more chances for other countries to attract Ghanaian finished goods . Ivory coast and Senegal become immediate alternative . Nigeria market is big but it is not a successful one .

I am waiting for you to show me how Nigeria border affects Ghanaian economy.

Whatever shops you find by Nigerian traders in Ghana, it's quadruple in Aba and Onitsha.
Sorry, Nigerian traders in Ghana just like those in Cameroon just need space to spread their tentacles.
You can only make a point with the exchange rate disparity but even that is not so much of a problem.

It wasn't a direct attack on Nigeria , it was a direct law against the foreigner operating illegally in Ghanaian space . Ghana locks your shop and the whole social media was in flame , it bite you harder. It lasted for much longer time pls .
