They shy away from the more courageous and challenging battles of providing good lasting governance for their people and future generations, and instead, choose the easy jobs. Hating and intolerance are much much easier than articulating a vision for the longterm prosperity of their people. I find it particularly painful and ironic that Africans have spent centuries fighting dehumanizing racism and bigotry all over the world. With that battle still raging on , we are in the global spotlight for the most hateful and intolerant laws against another set of human beings, whose only crime is being different.
