Please what do you mean the applicant didn't complete the payment? Became paying tuition fees didn't guarantee a visa? But advisable to pay tuition deposit required from school. Please let us understand what you mean that the applicant didn't complete the payment onyekachee: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Mrblaqjaym: 1:02pm On Jun 17, 2023 |
onyekachee: The school has not requested that I pay my first tuition fee, my tuition fees has already been covered by mpower loan and my school is aware and in support with mpower. How then do I make them understand.

Those that got admission into post graduate diploma in Sheridan college Did you apply with official transcript or student copy? If you applied with student copy, were you giving admission? |

Please everyone in the house I need your help My brother got admission into a Canadian University and later got a leave from his place of work for 2 years including a loan (from his office) which he is to pay back to the company after to resuming work on completion of his 2 years study. Just before he submitted his visa application, the school gave him a revised version of the admission letter which is now 1 year instead of the initial 2 years (Note that this is the same course and academic year) Unfortunately, when applying for the visa, we forgot to notify the company of the changes made to the admission later and submitted the updated admission letter of 1 year and the leave of absence/loan of 2 years (ie from Aug 2023 - Dec 2025). Which means he will graduate by 2024 if he resumes this September 2023 but his office gave him a period of 2 years to return back to work so as to start paying the loan. What can be one do to rectify this issue? |

My application got refused today June 17th. I applied on May 20th The reasons were: -Financial situation was insufficient -purpose of visit I had a Canadian bank statement of $13k Nigerian statement: N5.5m Pension statement: N25m Paid tuition deposit of $6500 I am already in Canada as a visitor but applied as though I am outside of Canada. I am trying to figure out how to address the issue and reapply |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by zubizareta(m): 2:02pm On Jun 17, 2023 |
Jeremy20: Your medical will only be passed if ircc contacts IOM or qlife to send your medical report. Also possible that has been done and yet to be updated. So wait. 6 weeks isn't out of place. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by zubizareta(m): 2:06pm On Jun 17, 2023 |
oriazowan: You were in Canada and applied as you were outside Canada, so what made you think they wouldn't have found that? Instead of you to do the eight thing and apply as though you were in Canada. That explains the purpose of the visit refusal reason. As for finance, definitely you can't access all your pension funds at once so I doubt that will count. So basically only your cad acct and naira acct counts. So what's cost of your tuition and duration of your program?? 1 Like |

The fastest way to get the reason might be just walking to an MP office close to where you presently stay and ask for them to get detail from IRCC oriazowan: |

Good Evening All, I have been following this thread for a couple of months now. We got served breakfast for my son's application for the following: I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors: • Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable). • Pursuant to paragraph 220(b) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to maintain yourself and any family members who are accompanying you during your proposed period of study. Main Details: Minor 16+ years Total POF N21.3m (about CAD62k at the time). Total Cost: Annual Tuition of CAD17.2k, Living CAD11.5k, Others CAD3k and Flight 3k 4 years course duration Timeline: submitted on May 15, 2023 with upfront medical done and passed and refusal came yesterday June 17, 2023. Main concern: School didn't require tuition deposit and none was paid. A lumpsum of N7.8m entered days before submission but sponsor account has in and outs of that range. letter of bonus payments was provided Have submitted request for CBSA Gcms note today but timeline is really tight as admission is for Fall 2023. |

Please is there anyone going to Sheridan College in September? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by francophone134: 7:23pm On Jun 17, 2023 |
kenoja:sorry about the denial. I just feel that sometimes there are more to this denials than we actually can tell. Fine, the money is sufficient enough to cover for intended purpose of visit but they may have to look at other factors which we may not see. Factors like, does the person's sponsor has other responsibilities. E.g maybe other children that he has to cater for?that is just one example. Who is sponsoring and what the person does is very vital. Also they may have to look at how regular money enters the account and sum it up for the last 4-6 months to know the range of cash that enters. All the best in your reapplication. Also, assets are very important. Sponsor has to show not only cash at bank, but also assets of value (material) It will end in praise! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Hello house, Please I sent my passport to VFS through UPS courier a week ago. The tracking shows delivered, but is there a way I can track with VFS to know if it was actually delivered to them. I don't think I trust UPS service for now. |
