I don't know why people do it, but think about it, you take full loss when your SL is hit, but you take partial profits when your trade hits TP.

if one takes partial loss nd partial profits, then it's OK. but it's not OK to take full loss and partial profits.

if the first move you started your trendline from the candle wick why ignore the candle wick in the second move?

Nothing happens as a mistake in the fx industry every move or spike has a purpose, if you draw you trendline from the wicks you'll find out that price is still under the bullish flag pattern and the third move might be another sell structure, when using trendlines you should be very careful and observant because one mistake and you get the wrong picture

I use many wick swing touches of a trendline as possible. In the second move, observe that there are two wick swings there so i didnt ignore any wick. Like you said, every move or spike has a purpose. Would like to see your chart to understand better.

Looking for another lower high IMO even though it is at support.
