Drey1:You can send it to their London office but you will have to pay transmission fee (less than 20pounds) as well as DHL fee (20.85) if you’re in the uk 🇬🇧. You can call their London office for more clarity 2 Likes |

Tell him to apply to all those teaching agencies as a teaching assistant / Invigilator and if he can do factory work he should spread his wings to Warrington. All is well Kekeman4now: 1 Like |

eniola1010:you will be taxed as normal according to the rate on hmrc website. If at the end of the annual tax year in April and you paid too much tax the previous year, you will be refunded. If you underpaid, hmrc will still send a letter to you to repay what you owe. Same applies, your extra job will be classed as a 2nd job and you will be taxed accordingly… 1 Like |

STENON: Airport Hotel is very close to the airport and there are taxi people nearby or you can use Bolt, at whatever time of the day/night. It's pretty outdated and not in very good condition but good enough to just catch a few hours of sleep. 1 Like 1 Share |

STENON: Ensure someone checks up the hotel before payment, this happened to me and thanks to God I didn't pay. Damp room with no ventilation, inshort very small room for that matter. 1 Like |

eniola1010: 2. When you invite a friend from Nigeria for your graduation, they are assessed on the merit of their application (and risked-assessed based on that). The UK is very unlikely going to issue a visa to your friend who is capable of ‘elopes’. (I think your use of the word is improper in this context, but that na talk for another day). It is the reason why your friend who is single, earning less than £50 per month, owns no businesses and with zero history of international travel is likely to be denied in the first place. 3. Ever heard the word estimate / forecast? They will use a forecast and deduct. End of tax year, if they deducted too much, they refund you. If they deducted too little, they send you later to pay the balance. 4. Ever heard of HMRC Starter checklist? See page 2 of the checklist. I have attached a screenshot for you to see. 5. It’s not exactly true to say ‘most jobs ask for DL’. Maybe most of the jobs for which you are qualified and looking for are asking for DL. If they do, it’s because it’s required. A Project Manager working for HS2 (for example) may be required to travel to site where public transport is not readily available. 1 Like

For 1 and 2 - try your hands on Coursera courses in Project Management delivered by Google and see if its what you really want to do before seeking in-class training. You can apply for Financial Aid too. Opiso101: 3 Likes |

People have gotten jobs based on these certifications though. But I hear you, a PRINCE2 or PMP certification would carry more weight but it all boils down to what you know and can bring to the table with your employer. You may have the PMP or PRINCE 2 certificates and not be able to deliver while someone with a Coursera certificate would do better. Opiso101: 2 Likes |

Valid thoughts! Had a similar convo with my partner last week. Our conclusion was most people must have and focus on their long-term goal (WHY) of relocating. It just can't be all about money! It's easy to flow with the tide, get stuck in the chase for money, endless shifts and not realise one is lost and the family is falling apart in every aspect, especially emotionally. Coming from a society where social validation is based on material possession and short term gains are valued above than long term gains, many Nigerians need to reorder their values, break away from some mentality, avoid pressure from home which can keep them on the drive for more money. Why rush into a journey you'll be on for the next 4 - 6 years? Long-term gains require long-term planning and discipline. As with every area of life and advancement, consistency beats intensity. Best wishes to everyone. Chreze: 8 Likes |

bigtt76:If you got your last visa in Nija, you can't "Dropbox" here. You will need to go through the interview process again. |
