Let’s just say I have peace of mind as I am no longer an electricity customer. No need for mathematical calculations but the comparison is against a reduction in kw usage. So if you use 50kw at 66 and now use 30kw at 86 such that you have more compensated for the increase by the savings on your usage. for m jmoore: 1 Like |
Tinubu will replicate Lagos Nationwide. Lol. Una go see shege[/quote} Lagos is best state in Nigeria. Electricity has improved in my area . You can’t expect European standard and pay less. Let’s stop all these cheap blackmail as long as you get value for what you purchase there’s no big deal . I stand gidigba with BAT next action I’m waiting from him is security , agriculture and employment. He’s so far the president with the biggest balls. Nigerians have been enjoying so many subsidies without knowing and yet they don’t appreciate it at all always complaining and complaining eg paying the sum of 10k in the university. Lastly BAT should address the issues of soft loans for SMEs and to the Nigerian populations at large . As for corruption it can’t die in this generation it can only be discouraged because majority of us are corrupt. 2 Likes |
Just imagine how selfish these ediots are. You come in and the first thing is to remove all subsidies enjoyed by the masses. They claim they are removing subsidy on petrol because it was being smuggled to neighboring countries. What is the excuse for the removal of subsidy on electricity and education. Next they will target is Healthcare [/quote} Mention one working country as vast as Nigeria living on subsidies? The countries you all admire are not living on subsidies. I believe these removed subsidies will enable government diversify in real time creating employment and soft loans. It’s time to smell the coffee Nigeria can’t keep living on subsidies. Nigeria of 1999 or 2007 is not the same of today the population is increasing even Nigeria health system is subsidized that’s why doctors can’t be paid well and we always blame government but we don’t really look inward have you heard of a private university going on strike? Hell no it’s because the students are the ones paying the lectures so there’s no room rubbish or excuses. It’s going to be difficult because we’re used to subsidies but reality is knocking . |

marlow1962: You see why we can’t move forward In Nigeria because we believe everything should be free the Europeans you all admire are managing cost to cut tax. When electricity was cheap I’ll leave my AC on while going out because it’s just 6k a month in 2016 but now I can’t try that rubbish. We’re not disciplined In this country BAT is showing us how to . No matter how you complain as long as there’s value for what you purchase the complaints will be minimal cut your coat according to your size or cutting cost is not a sign of poverty. |

Which kind wahala be this I deh my way coming back from Abuja to go report salary varnishing between IPPIS to account without any description and then this. By the way Abeg who even design that thiefing device REMITA self, una days don the count finish? The truth about this is that the future gain is better than the sacrifice we have to make as a country now. We quickly compare this country with china on how years back china was backward that even Nigerias currency was far better but we don't want to knw the sacrifice they made or undergo such to become the words leading economy one day. We have zero down from fastest developing country to what we are now. Believe me even closing the borders by Former PMB was not a wrong idia but the system didn't make plans + our greedy marketers and marchants men who countr the prices of market commudity perceive that new actors will arise from the result and they will be face out so instead they resulted to frustrating the citizens with highest impact on the poor masses with unscrupulous rise in prices of livelihood. It's not funny for me especially and I didn't vote in this government but a right thing is right to associate with, I am not finding it any funny but I believe there are some bricks that we need to drop in this country if we need to move forward and better and it dosnt matter who does that. One thing obvious is that the prices of community normally even from a kilometer apart varies in Nigeria (no control) and Nigeria still patronize them in there variations and never complain even with the wide margins weather they knw or not in as far as they need it but then I observe that the gap and margins is now closing up considerably, I can speculate by a more than 75%. I mean people that extort other people are now forced to close up, they cannot longer practice their hideous crimes of over bloating their market prices again because no one is buying and to keep business they are have to almost harmonize their commodity prices with the regular because of the hike of price from increase of subsidy most likely. By the way cutting down means of person living is the solution to cope now till things set. I trust the government to do something too just like GEJ did by supplying Elrufai Buses, and with other emoluments expecially for government staffs and citizenry. But if una decision is that we stay as we deh tor no qualms, as the common Nigerian man slugan "Na so e bi tei tai, nothing go work for this country". Or we go support and join jagaban so that the small salary we deh earn no go stiln stop. Abi una no no say the system don deh cripple? We need a different approach to fit into the fast evolving world economy with too much loan to bare for as long as possible. Unless we are set to end this country or frustrate this government by making sure it doesn't deliver (which we all go sufferam) we need dialogue on possible outcome forward. My pick |
