hatakekakashi:That last game was initially meant to be played this weekend. This weekend was meant to be the end of qualifiers. However the AFCON was shifted to January and the last game was then moved to September. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Someone who speaks my language. Osimhen is now 20 goals away from equalling Yekini's Goals Record for the Super Eagles. Against Sao Tome, Osimhen has the sweet chance to cut the gap to 16 coz I feel he can score 4 again or even more. Lol Danielnino00: 3 Likes 1 Share |

Marjoribanks:Marjoribanks you talk and write without insight. Was the England v Malta game a dead rubber game? England has not sealed qualification yet so the home-based analogy will not apply as per the 65%. For those not seeing the obvious: your goal as a coach is to discover new players to compete favourably and also playing them in position that will help express their innate skills not out of position and condemning them afterward. Playing an opposition parading players from local clubsides that have not done well in the past 15years up till last year in any CAF COMPETITION does you no real good bringing your Foreign based best legs when there could be a blend of the best legs from the home scene and the foreign based. More especially in dead rubber games you gain more in player discovery. |

hatakekakashi:Well you are right but Enyeama used friendly match against Kenya to show he was ready and he capped it with solid performance against England in WC,just second capped…..One thing I noticed about Adeleye was his ball playing from the back.It is a pity tall keepers like Okoye and Maduka are not convincing. 1 Like 1 Share |

ecoco2014:egwuekwe went to finland, south Africa, Libya and came back home, odunlami went to romania and is now in india, reuben went to Kilmarnock, played 3 games, played in 3 other european countries and now based in Saudi, oboabona played in turkey and is now in georgia. after using home based players in his team, the best club anyone of them signed for was a spor team in retirement league turkey. Basically we helped their career but did they improve the national team?? we have a plethora of teams to use for showcasing talents but the super eagles should never be one of them. We can't improve the team if we continue this madness. Let them use the chan team to build confidence. I repeat, the Sao tome game should only be to cap new players. We dont really play that much games to be using one of them as confidence booster for the home based eagles. You are really not helping your case over here. 4 Likes 1 Share |

hatakekakashi:that guy is better than uzoho Uzoho wey no good with em feet, pass ball to him em go play am like who gets 2 left legs. The new guy from Israeli has the qualities of a modern day goal minder. Though he is still raw but under the right tutelage he may be the next Vincent enyeama 2 Likes 1 Share |

elyte89: You think it is easy communicating tactical instructions to many of these players on the local scene. You may not understand how difficult it is, monitoring players on the local scene to gain good understanding of how they play. Having players who play together for a long time helps team chemistry regardless of the quality of the opposition. If we are planning on working with players on the local scene, it shouldn't be different names every time. 1 Like |

Amedino99: Thank you jare... Keshi really tried for those home bases players...Sunday Mbah was expected to earn a decent move abroad after that AFCON heroics, but we saw how it ended .. Using the super eagles to market NPFL players won't in any way improve the league...if anything,it will cause more damage cus the best players in the league will keep leaving... Emeka Obioma who emerged top scorer in the just concluded season is already being courted by Zamalek of Egypt at a time when Enyimba are back to the CAF CL.. . How will the league grow when the best players are leaving every time? 1 Like |
