JohnBullMySon: Well, the so-called Randy is a college coach not a club coach. |

mostob: One of the reasons Nigeria is a backwater. Nigerians have been forced to swallow craps hence multiple replications of bad leadership. I guess the chase for excellence calls for merit. |

Danielnino00: The list looks like a group stage dropout. It is heavy on the tired legs. I watch Falcon's preparatory match with Haiti, it showed Nigeria had woods at the back field. |

Deltamani: Its not any slow-mo. They know the truth but they want to keep living a lie. I love to debate but if I'm wrong then I'm wrong. I remember saying for years that Njoku didn't elbow that Australian at the 2015 WWC but when I saw the footage I had to admit I was wrong. What's the big deal in that? Just admit it and move on. 1 Like |

We have already admitted Okobi was wrong for her remarks in the interview but why is no one talking about the coach telling her she is not good enough in front of everyone? Is that what other foreign coaches do Don't they call u one on one to say these type of things 2 Likes |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 1:58pm On Jun 18, 2023 |
BascoVanVeli: I stand corrected but he didn't do it openly (please reference where she said he did) I remember in her first Interview she said Randy has one on one sessions with the team and it was there he expressed to her that she ultimately isn't part of his plan for the team and this really isn't out if place (every coach does this). I also do not think he said she's not good enough (that could be what she inferred) but verbatim I don't think he said that. Again, you can be a very effective player and not be part of the coach's plan. We shouldn't make it look like this doesn't happen every time. In 2014 Chinedu Obasi was one of Nigeria's best players but Keshi didn't take him to the world cup. It was the same way Keshi gambled with MBA, Oboabona and a few others to the Nation's cup in 2013 that Nigeria later won. Whenever a list I released, I have reactions and reservations like everyone else, but I always respect the coach's decision cause at the end of the day the buck stops at his table and he bears the consequences really. 3 Likes |

lovewins: She said he told her she wasn't good enough in front of her teammates but I guess that doesn't fit with the narrative. This was way before any list was released. There is no way u watched the first interview and didn't hear that so stop it. Of course the coach has final say but u can't tell ne or anyone else not to raise our complaints. 1 Like |

JohnBullMySon:I believe you read this part Mr BsacoVanVeli. There's a difference between full-time emotionally charged statements and scheduling an interview to criticize the coach. |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by JohnBullMySon: 3:31pm On Jun 18, 2023 |
BascoVanVeli: We have to hear from other witness first. |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 3:31pm On Jun 18, 2023 |
BascoVanVeli: I avoid going back and forth with you cause you sometimes let your emotions get the better of you and resort to bad faith arguments. I watched the first interview live and even did a summary here, but can't remember what you're alluding to. It's why I asked that you reference where it was said. The very least you can do is quite verbatim what she said cause to the best of my recollection her Interaction with Randy was a one in one basis same as everyone. As to complaints, of course I never argued against making complaints, I am a "chief complainer" when it comes to Randy so to suggest otherwise is being dishonest. I only put in context the extent of my complaints as it relates to team least. Whatever reservations we all may have, the coach is ultimately responsible for the team and we can I let judge him or otherwise by how the team performs. |

The fact that Each of the 736 players at this yearโs Womenโs World Cup will be paid a minimum of $30,000 by FIFA thanks to new prize-money stipulations is enough to make some federations in Africa gamble with the squads until the final moment. *-Collins Okinyo* 1 Like |
