You should be exempt. Same principle of paying for DSTV for one year before the new price is effected.

Since I'll be staying at my current apartment at least another one year and I'll buy electricity regardless, it makes sense to just buy it once and for all.

Any direction they decide to take is okay as long as they don't reduce the tariff
