IjeBos: Glad the investigation over Hunter is over. The FBI cannot claim it's a matter under investigation anymore. The House Committee can move ahead to ask him what he was being paid 83k per month by Burisma , why he had shell companies receiving cash from Romania, China, Russia and Ukraine for no work done. This money was sent to at least 9 family members including Biden grandchildren. Banks raised SARs ( Suspicy Activity Reports) in at least 150 transactions on his activity which the IRS never investigated. Or according to you the payments to Hunter were legit. One aspect. He introduced Ukrainian businessmen to his dad at the time the VP. Slam dunk case of him acting as an unregistered foreign lobbyist. Manafort got jail time for not registeting as a foreign agent, yet Manafort was consulting with John Podesta who never registered but Mueller had him jailed and put in solitary during the trial.John Podesta is the brother to Tony Podesta the Clinton campaign chairman.Tony Podesta has some weird , really weird art work of nude children in his home. Equal justice for all my ass. The walls will close in on the criminal Biden family. Only a TDS, media brainwashed zombie thinks the Bidens are clean |

zendi: You should probably google the "Special Counsel" statute. Biden has been clear about the independence of the DOJ and Merrick Garland even went further by appointing an independent Special Counsel. In the US we don't believe anyone is above the law. And you mean frivolities like stealing and showing people top secret documents that show the military/nuclear capabilities of the US, Iran and other allies? Actions that probably caused those sources to be lost or the source of some of that info to die. Yeah, clearly frivolous. And lastly think about the argument you are making. Trump said he was running in anticipation that he would be investigated. If someone shot and killed someone tomorrow, do you think filing to be a Presidential candidate should indemnify them from legal action? 2 Likes 1 Share |

The Justice Ministry and the Secret Police are independent as long as they're taking down the Emperor's enemies one by one. |

IjeBos: Unlike you I don't pretend. I say things as I see fit... Especially on a faceless forum. African American kids looting stores and me calling it out is not racist. Fools like you who are victims of themselves will think that way. You still can not accept the fact that your beloved heaven is within my reach. I can reach anywhere I want and the only thing you can do is envy. Shouting racism does not fix anything. Burying your head in the sand too does not change anything. Tomorrow you will be the first to cry when others stereotype you but you excuse criminals because of skin color. Since that time I have been to Nigeria and back again. 2 Likes |

benalvino3: Shut up. You didn't go anywhere. You're a self hating black person who pretends to be Christian when it suits him who spends his life on a thread of a country he's never been to. Then lies about going there. This hasn't been the first time you've "claimed" you've been in the US. Me envious of you? You're really talking stupid. You've seen my passport. I'm smarter, better educated, better looking, more traveled, have WAY WAY more money and have a Badder girl than you. And I have a LIFE. And if you want to see black people breaking laws, maybe look at all the mayhem by the agberos and cultists in Nigeria. Why cross the ocean when there are plenty of black people in Nigeria(you know, where you live) committing crimes. 1 Like |

There is 0 to be envious of. It's common sense. Your story doesn't add up. Just from your inability to say where you were to the sudden timing of your "trip". You should probably google the definition of the word envy, you seem not to understand the meaning. 1 Like |

benalvino3: Bro don’t you understand? The US is a holy land. Unattainable to anybody who doesn’t spout democrat party talking points online or support Joe Biden. That’s the criteria for qualifying as someone who’s ever been to the US according to our wise brethren here. You have to agree with the Democrat party and hate Trump otherwise you have never left your fathers village in Nigeria before. Period! Stop arguing 😂 |

BraniacX: Why are you so stupid? We are talking about double standards you are talking about whataboutism. do you know what whataboutism is? or you just carry dictionary around and don't understand what you utter? There is double standards. Saying they let hillary go while they did not do the same for trump is talking about double standards rather than whataboutism. Hillary was accused of Mishandling Classified documents by the FBI... same thing they accused trump of. are you living under a rock? Comey said he decided not to indict hillary... Comey cannot decide if he can indict someone or not if a crime was not committed. So if he decided not to indict hillary, it means she has broken a law. You are too dumb to grasp this? trump as been a headless chicken for giving his enemies excuse to get him this time. and if the reports are true i want him to be punished for being a headless chicken. but watch from Comey himself saying she broke the law https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghph_361wa0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opPh9uG29cQ&t=68s 2 Likes

IjeBos:While I tend to agree with you. I don't really think the whole "you don't live in place X so therefore you don't know what you're talking about" is really as good of a point as you may think it is. Just a friendly critique. I don't live in the US for example, but the US being such the dominant world power and cultural hegemon it is, makes learning about it's politics and history unavoidable (to me). And it is in my interest to see the US get things right, as they're and have been a model for governance and democracy for a lot of countries in the world including Nigeria. Whatever path it takes good or bad it can drag the rest of the world with it. This results in a lot of non-residents having an interest it's political direction. And living in the US aswell doesn't automatically make someone have a good understanding or good takes on its politics, republican pundits are a testiment to this. 2 Likes 1 Share |

IMAliyu2: I generally agree with what you wrote. The quote was supposed to be an "either/or". "Either you don't live in the US or you have little understanding of the US". And still I was generally being lazy when I wrote that. There are a myriad of qualifications to that statement that I leave out (that I have written in the past). This board is to discuss US politics and diversity of ideas is generally helpful. My issue as with the people on this forum who make Declarative statements and spend their time talking about US cultural issues they really don't understand as if they have a deeper understanding of the US than they do. Lecturing people who live in the US about those issues. (Like the poster who I replied to who seemingly didn't even know what the Department of Justise was). I have and aversion to lazy/intellectually uncurious people. But then there are those people in this forum who don't live in the US (you included) that generally seem to want to inform themselves, learn about the US and come at this conversation with the understanding that they aren't the authority of all things US. And so you are right, living in the US doesn't automatically make someone have a good understanding of politics.. etc. There are a lot of stupid Americans. And I'm sure there is a grad student in Nigeria studying the US constitution that has a much better understanding than I on it. But, I do believe until you live somewhere and are fully immersed in that culture, no matter how much you think you may understand that places culture, you really don't and can't. |
Re: American Politics Thread - 2024 Elections — Biden’s Presidency! by IjeBos(m): 1:38am On Jun 23, 2023 |
benalvino3: This is an asinine post. (All the quotes below are form the IG's (DOJ Inspector General) Report on the Handling of the Clinton Case. If you haven't read it, read the executive summary. Probably a better use of your time than repeatedly posting racist nonsense here. https://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/4515893/Justice-Dept-IG-report-on-handling-of-Clinton.pdf 1.) The DOJ either indicts or declines to indict after an investigation. Declining to indict doesn't mean any criminality occurred. And when they do decline to indict they don't give reasons. In fact Comey broke policy and was criticized for giving that press conference and speaking about Clinton's uncharged conduct. We concluded that Comey’s unilateral announcement was inconsistent with Department policy and violated long-standing Department practice and protocol by, among other things, criticizing Clinton’s uncharged conduct. We also found that Comey usurped the authority of the Attorney General, and inadequately and incompletely described the legal position of Department prosecutors. 2.)Again, you seem to use words you really don't understand. Google the definition of "double standard". A double standard needs two similar things with different reactions/outcomes. i.e Hunter Biden getting 2 misdemeanors for not paying 200k in taxes while Roger Stone getting nothing for not paying 2 million in back taxes. 3.) Again, you tend to post articles/clips that you either didn't watch/read or don't understand. Comey's clip should explain why Clinton was not charged and Trump was. Some of it has to do with a thing called mens rea(guilty mind) or intent. Clinton had no intent to keep/hide classified documents yet Trump did (as he admitted in his most recent interview). Here are the charges she could have been indicted for. Read them and explain to me which one she should have been charged with and then explain why you disagree with the Inspector Generals conclusions on it. We found that the prosecutors considered five federal statutes:https://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/4515893/Justice-Dept-IG-report-on-handling-of-Clinton.pdf 4.) And again, you seem to pull out the same debunked claims no matter how many times you are fact checked. Hilary Clinton had no Classified documents on her server. This isn't me saying this, this is Comey and the Inspector General's report saying this. As summarized below, the Midyear prosecutors concluded that there was not a basis to prosecute former Secretary Clinton, her senior aides, or others under any of these statutes. The prosecutors cited the following factual conclusions from the investigation as critical to its recommendation not to prosecute: You really shouldn't argue with people smarter than you. |
