If you have a date in Lagos for passport submission then use Lagos.

It’s super fast; submitted on Tuesday 20th ready for Collection Thursday 22nd.

I have filled the TRV form, i am applying as a tourist. But i couldn't get a page where it ask me to input my hotel details. Which is where i will be staying in Canada. Is it that the new portal don't ask for that information?

Yes proof of fund is needed applying inside or outsude canada make no diffeeence to ircc

If you using the old portal , there is a place they ask you for Purpose of Travel. In that place, upload your itinerary as well as your hotel reservation there for them to see. Your itinerary should state the purpose of visit, where you would travel to, and the main activities you would be doing inside of Canada as well as your accommodation. Do well to click the question mark icon close to it to see what documents that you would be needing.

I think it should be the same as the new portal.

I have not received any mail from vfs for the passport sent neither have I been able to do a live chat with them. The live chat keeps saying all agents are busy.

Good morning Famz,

I got a message since Monday 19th June that my passport has been dispatched via Courier but i am yet to receive it.

I sent an email to VFS on Wednesday for them to send me the UPS tracking number but they are yet to respond.

Is there any other way i can get the UPS tracking number?

If you have clicked Tourism and didn’t ask about the hotel details, you shouldn’t be worried I believe. Just upload the necessary documents in the additional documents section.

I think this explains why you are unable to link or access the account, This response was updated as at March 2023 so I think this is the most updated response from IRCC.

You would need to escalate it as instructed on the screenshot. You can send a webform and let the subject clearly explain what the issue is. A faster way would be a trusted person in Canada calling IRCC on your behalf. Perhaps, they could find another way in sending your husbands correspondence.

Also, try send an e-mail to Lagos, Abuja and Nairobi explaining the issue.

Application: 27th August, 2022
Biometric: 8 Sept, 2022
BVL: 29th April 2023
PPR: 13th June, 2023
Passport submission in UK: 16th June, 2023
Passport collected : 23rd June, 2023

To God 🙏 🙏 be the glory and I'm so grateful 🙏🙏 to God for his infinite mercy and blessings upon my life. UK and Canada visa within the space of 2 months mehn.

Keep trying the live chat. You’re not doing anything wrong, you’ll still hear from them.

I got a visitor visa done by an agent and during the application he filled in my education history that i have Bsc certificate at uniben but this is so untrue although he didn’t submit any certificate to prove that for my application. Now I want to apply for a closed work permit, and the only certificate i have is SSCE, do u think I stand a chance of approval? Due to my previous application of the vv ?

Good morning house, please I am trying to book an appointment for passport submission in Lagos but each time it asks for one time OTP, it takes about 3mins before I receive it and when I input the number it says incorrect OTP, please any idea on how to go about booking the appointment? Thanks in advance
