Daily Mail - Man United don't have the money for Osimhen! Budget market halved for the Red Devils The Daily Mail took stock of the Manchester United market, focusing in particular on the centre-forward. The Daily Mail took stock of the Manchester United market, focusing in particular on the centre-forward. Victor Osimhen is among coach ten Hag's favourites , but the excessive cost of the transfer holds back the Red Devils. The English newspaper writes that financial fair play imposes limits on United, regardless of the outcome of the fight between Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe for the purchase of the club. The budget for the transfer market has dropped from £220m last season to £120m for the current transfer campaign. Manchester will also be forced to sell players to finance new signings. For the role of centre-forward Kane is the main target, but Tottenham have fired the figure of 100mn. The same goes for Osimhen , valued at £120m, with De Laurentiis being described as formidable at the negotiating table. Then there's Hojlund , whose valuation has risen to 86 million. Manchester – writes the Mail – would like to pay him half. Then there's Eintracht Frankfurt's Kolo Muani , ready to accept a payment of £50-60m for a player who cost nothing when he moved to Germany from Nantes last summer. Other goals of the Red Devils are Gonçalo Ramos , who is liked by Ten Hag and is worth 60 million, and Vlahovic , valued at £75m. |

AndSunGorilla: One thing I've learned in football ⚽ strike while the iron is hot. Vihalovic, Lukaku, immobile, were all too goal scorers in consecutive season now they are way down the pecking order. It's taken VO three seasons to hit this form, there is no guarantee that Napoli can replicate this level of performance and therefore VO. If he doesn't move now although the transfer fee is too high , next season may not be as favourable and his value drop. He need the move now nobody can predict tomorrow. 2 Likes |

AndSunGorilla: Well Koulibali came to the EPL with huge expectations and a good fee of £33 million for a 30+ player, I dint think he has been very good. This is what happens in football he looked sensational for Napoli now he looks hmmm 🤔 |

komekn:I agree with you he should make a move now if he can. However, baring any crazy injuries, VO is a strong character with a never say die attitude, I think VO will be around for a while at high levels. 1 Like 1 Share |

Mikel and Etebo were not at their prime in the Championship.. in fact you should not be mentioning Mikel's name in this convo.. you don forget say Mikel play for Premiership just because of Onyedinma don reach there now. And yes Nwakali is above Mikel's level near retirement. komekn: |

Joebie: Mikel played for Nigeria with EXCELLENCE even when his time at Chelsea had come to an end in 2015/16. He was still outstanding for Nigeria in the World cup along side Etebo. But on arrival in the English Championship they did well but were not outstanding and or exceptional. Even now if you put Mikel Obi and Etebo into the Segunda division they will dominate and become oustanding and exceptional. Nwakali has never been at the level of Etebo and or Mikel. My comments have nothing to do with Onyedinma, l said it before repeatedly I don't think he is good enough yet for the SE . However, Nwakali is way off the mark in terms of SE quality in my opinion. He needs to stop playing for relegation teams in very poor quality leagues . There are too many players better than him. Etebo is 3 years older than Nwakali what prime are you talking about ❓ |

wayodude: Some people don't understand the modern footballer needs a far different skill set to get to the top . Mbappe can play wing and cross the ball with pin point accuracy both feet 🐾. If you don't have those skill sets as a modern day forward player , you will find it hard to get to the top. Now there are some strikers who are so good you play to their strengths and appreciate their incredible talent. For instance Lewindosky , Kane and Lukaku come to mind . |

wayodude: One thing you should understand is that a lot of the players we took for the U20 World Cup are already over 25. Some are even in their 30s, so I'm not surprised with the moves they've made so far. They'll take up any opportunity they get to earn foreign currency no matter how obscure the environment is because they know they're not gonna be playing high level football for a long time anyways. It's all about the money 💸💸💸 right now and not career progression. 4 Likes |

To imagine that westgate played a defender in MF beats my imagination. And he performed even in the position. Meanwhile Ebere was in the team. I mean is the writing on the wall not legible enough?? 2 Likes |

typicalgamer: Exactly. There are three aspects of life you can't cheat: 1) Nature 2) Time(Age) 3) The Truth Funny thing about the truth is, it always has its way of showing itself no matter how many people ignore it or how long they try to hide it. It's an agent of exposure. An extrovert if you will . 1 Like |

wayodude: You can't prove it's not true and you can't prove without independent automatic birth data capture. So you have to rely on the players integrity,in an environment where age is intrinsically linked to your value and progression. The difference between you and a top contract is your age, in many instances. |

komekn: I don't need to prove anything. The burden of proof lies with the prosecution. As an accuser YOU have to prove your assertion. The argument is not whether there is a suspicion of age cheating or not. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Now, Mount is on his way to United (sure selection). He has played his first and last match for England just like Tomori! What a shame! comodo: |

A Nigerian basketballer racially abused on Spain has been drafted by Detriot Piston from Barcelona. From Nigeria to NBA in just 5 years. Na who give up f up! His story shows us the best way to promote your talent using social media! Good luck to him. Overview James Nnaji, who turns 19 on Aug. 14, 2023, is among the youngest players in the top 80 prospects. Standing at 6-foot-11, 226 pounds with a 7-foot-5 wingspan, Nnaji is a rotational center for FC Barcelona. Nnaji averaged just 6.0 minutes per contest in EuroLeague play, but that is common for youth players. Barcelona finished as the second-best team in the EuroLeague standings and is amid a playoff run for the fifth consecutive season. Nnaji started playing basketball in July 2016 in his home country of Nigeria, prior to moving to Ratgeber Basketball Academy in Hungary after a 2018 Facebook reel of his camp highlights went viral. |
