If the NFF wants to get rid of Peseiro, now is the time to do it... His contract has expired so they either renew it or get another coach.. We don't want a repeat of Rohr situation where we sacked him a few months to the AFCON... We have world cup qualifiers coming in November, so that's two international break and potentially 4 games to fine tune the team before the start of the qualifiers 7 Likes 1 Share |

typicalgamer:I'm very sure that a large number of Nigerians have birth certificates.. especially those born in the 1990s and 2000s..... During my youth service,I worked as an office assistant in one of the departments in a Federal college of education and part of my responsibility was collecting students file. In a ywar, i handled close to a thousand students file and I can assure you that at least 8% of them had their birth certificates attached to it... But I get the point you and others are trying to make sha...the system needs to be automated... 3 Likes 1 Share |

Danielnino00: Students ? Do you know how many students get their birth certificates after when they have need for it. and not during birth year ?? You seem to forget the illiterate population far outweigh the literate. And how many footballers put school first or hold school 50/50 with ball ? Bro Nothing anybody can tell me except for when it has used Nigerians do not give 2 cents about birth certificate 2 Likes |

Hanibal: Bro this fellow outcry on the problems of this country is annoying, you sit in the comfort of another person's country and say everything that is wrong with your country every time is very annoying if you are calling out a problem in the society every time without bringing forth a possible solution to the problem then you are also a problem to the society because it is very easy to build up than destroy that just the problem of a lot of Nigerians at any given opportunity they open their mouth and destroy the image of the country and they feel like they are been smart, it's like telling everybody that your wife does not know how to make Egusi soup and how the soup you ate at Japan was so good and you feel Japanese would think you're smart. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Likewise my son was issued birthday certificate the next day after his birth. I only begin to think twice when someone bring court declaration. 3 Likes |

zicky:But Chief i no guys who got their birth certificates as adults o. Some of them intentionally got it so they could look for work as undee 25s after graduating from college. However, funny enough i don't even have a birth certificate because my mom for whatever reasons didn't get it for me. That said, my age has been consistent from my primary school till date and my immediate older sister and younger sister have birth certificates. |

komekn: The last time i called you ignorant you deemed it perjorative. What gets to me the most is your eagerness to parade your ignorance. Does league quality affect a player's acceleration and speed ? Does league quality affect the accuracy of a player's long and short passes of the ball ? Does league quality affect a player's understanding of positioning ? The aforementioned player qualities has more to do with the player than it has to do with the situations the player finds himself (league quality) This knowledge is very basic to anyone involved in football, but Komekn that talks about his involvements with coaches and academies in England is found wanting. I salute you Komekn the impostor. Those qualities were the highlights of my commendations of Igoh Ogbu. He will show the qualities wherever he finds himself. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Kingjite1: First you make wild assumptions. I am in Nigeria more often that you think , there have been occasions when I have been in Nigeria for near 8 months over three trips. That effectively means I spent more time in Nigeria than any other country. I drive on the deplorable roads , l don't have a driver, I get accosted by police for no reason. I walk on these streets l engage with every sector of society not just the high rollers. You simply will never ever have any idea of things I am involved in within context of national contribution. |

Meliforme: Does league quality affect a player's acceleration and speed ? Does league quality affect the accuracy of a player's long and short passes of the ball ? Does league quality affect a player's understanding of positioning ? Absolutely everything is affected by the quality of the league you play in. All those attributes will be affected by the fact you have faster, more intuitive and anticipative as well physically imposing defenders. In for example the EPL Midfielder will get far less time on the ball , movement is different. Decision making much faster and more DECEPTIVE. What may appear super fast in the very lowly rated Norwegian/ Czech league, I mean it's a backwater league rated 15/16 in Europe. Will not be in the EPL. Ogbu has been in the Norwegian league for four seasons,if he was any good he simply would not be there .He then moves to another dead league tye Czech league, there is reason particularly after 4 seasons,he is not that good. Why are a multitude of top Clubs clamouring for the signature of Tosin Adarabioyo. Jude Billingham was playing in the Championship and at 16 had played 41 games , Borussia Dortmund promptly paid £25 million for him. So my Supremo Football ⚽ analyst, all the scouts in Europe did not see him and just YOU. Quite often a man with poor sight thinks he can see very well because , but he can't see 👀what people with 20/20 vision, can see👀 . He is near blind, but doesn't know, that's you blinded by emotive preference. 1 Like |

Emmy450:I can tell you that children born from 1960 till date’s have their hospital birth certificates but due to corruption most went to court for affidavits to lie about their ages. I was born in Kaduna in the 70s with hospital medical certificate and till date is one of the documents I cherish so much.It was during NYSC i discovered about age falsifications and during my civil service career. I was retained by one of Federal government parastatals after my NYSC but to my surprised with my real age am older than those who are older than me cuz they lied with court affidavits. One thing I noticed about age falsification in civil service, those with court affidavits always finding it difficult to cope after 15 years in service.I left the parastatals before I clocked 40 years of age and am happy for it cuz I already had over 15 years experienced.I was able to do this cuz I got the job in my early 20s. The same scenario is happening to our football players born in Nigeria and only way out is to ask for primary school certificates but can we do that when most in the authorities don’t even have primary school certificates and lied about their ages. I think with MRI we are able to get some real young lads like Victor Osimehn,Chuckwueze,Taiwo Awoniyi ,Kelechi Iheanacho. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeriagood: Well, personally I don't think there's a problem with Nigerians complaining about it. We're not South Americans so we have no say in how they run their affairs. Let them handle themselves as they deem fit. Our number one priority is how we handle ourselves as Nigerians and we have every right to call out whatever we're not comfortable with(although a lot seem to be comfortable with it). My joy is that we at least made some progress with the players we took to the U17 AFCON, but you see that U20 WORLD CUP? Forget that one |

Kog45:thank you sir, this is what I'm saying.. with as little as #1000 you can get affidavit from the court declaring any age you want, therefore overriding the birth certificate. This basically what many Nigerians do. |

Kog45:I think most of us here agrees with konmk on the falsification of age by our players, but we (me particularly) don't like the way he exaggerates and blows the situation out of proportion.. I mean, we all agree there's age cheat but it has been brought to a minimal level with MRI and other age detecting techniques.. 1 Like |

Meliforme: To be fair Komekn was on about the misuse of game statistics rather than player attributes. Obviously comparing stats for 2 players in vastly different leagues in terms of quality is misleading. As we know, a player that topped the goals chart in Belgium season after season may not even manage a single goal following a move to better league as we all saw with the Onuachu misadventure. If you compared Onuachu's stats with say someone like Callum Wilson or Marcus Rashford whilst he was still in Belgium, it would have suggested the he is a better player than both of them. But now we know the Koko. Importantly that does not mean Onuachu's attributes like acceleration got slower or his leap wasn't as high etc when he got to England. 1 Like |

Emmy450: Yes u re right …but what pisses of komekn and d likes is d obvious look way attitude from most commenters here like it doesn’t exist in Nigeria 🇳🇬….something dt occurs in almost all Spheres of life in nigeria Virtually most Nigerian graduates 🎓 from public universities reduce deir age just to get deir desire jobs .u can imagine most scenarios most graduates find themselves in,u gained admission at d age of 18/19years for a 4/5year course but due to ASUU strike and oda factors u graduated at age 26/27 years(4/5 year course turned to7/8year course) + one year mandatory service. And d graduate start looking for job and u realize majority of d banks and oda good multinationals companies have capped d age to 25/26 years ,abeg aw dt kind graduate no falsify him age via affidavit 😀 In fact I get person den wey b say he get like 3diff cvs with diff D.O.B declared on dem.anytime he’s at d interview,b4 going in ,he would confirm first from his wife,d one he used to seek dt particular job ,so dt he won’t end up shooting himself on d leg😀😀 3 Likes 1 Share |
