What will happen to Wagner troops? Will they now be controlled by Russian defense ministry, pregozhin's biggest fear?

Just look at the way Russians were celebrating the dude and Wagner soldiers, it shows Russians are not happy with Putin

The civilians were so comfortable with them even when they knew what was about to go down.

you must be having a meltdown. Dude had no choice. It was as if he was drunk and suddenly realized himself in the middle of his "movement to Moscow"

A convoy of 5000 men against Russian army with all its land, air and sea power? That's insane!

Seems you have a problem with comprehension!

The civilians in Rostov welcomed Wagner and did not treat them like enemies of the state. That says a lot. Look at how he was being celebrated when he was leaving for the airport, it says a lot!

How about the fact that Wagner did not face any opposition from the Russian military while advancing towards Moscow, and still did not face any resistance?

Common sense depicts that the Russian foot soldiers and Wagner are in one accord.

khadirov and surukovin where getting ready to crush this Wagner force. It was a suicidal mission. The leader understood this and has taken the fall for his men.

criminal charges against them dropped....they might be absorbed into the Russian army according to the statement from kremlin. But I believe another leader will branch out of the Wagner group.

He should try and take the needed rest , he probably had PST as a result of the war, I am just imagining the kind of deadly infliction both side has done to each other. I wish Zelenskyy would seat down and negotiate. If Putin's Chef is smart enough to negotiate, because he loves mother Russia, while then is Zelenskyy not in love with Sister Ukraine and make the necessary sacrifice. My heart goes to all the civilians and military persons who had witness this war both in the Ukraine and Russian side. I know I watch a WSJ drone video where a military personnel despite lossing all his platoon can't escape home because of a stupid order to shoot anyone who return.
The stupid thing is that 4000 years down the line it might be Nigerian occupying the disputed territory .. everything belongs to God we are just temporary residence.

A permanently drunk Boris Yeltsin was never toppled in a coup in Russia.
But somehow some believe that an old KGB officer can be easily toppled.
The drama behind the whole thing is telling a lot.

He will be killed. Sooner or later, he will be killed.

He talks too much and lacks emotional intelligence. Once things don't go his way, he goes into an outburst, screaming and shouting. He claimed he wasn't given enough weapons to fight Ukraine, but somehow he has enough weapons to take on Russia.

His madness again, proves the danger of having a powerful military-style force outside of the military. From the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan to the Special Forces that overthrew Alpha Conde in Guinea, and now this.

It also proves the danger that occurs when a nobody becomes a somebody overnight.

He probably felt invisible at a point. Having a 50,000 man strong army at your disposal is no beans. Shiogu realised the guy had gotten too powerful and wanted to cut him to size. He rebelled, which funny enough, proves Shiogu right.

The Wagner Chief was smart enough to beat a retreat. His death would've been instant.

Civilians hailed him? Civilians will always hail the occupying force. That's how civilians don't get killed.

The National Guard and police were deployed. It is standard for the army to not respond. Things will get out of hand the moment they are sent in.

He wasn't advancing to Moscow. He was building defences inside Rostov. Rostov is far from Moscow. The force moving to Moscow was like 5 - 10% of his force.

If 5k armed soldiers appear in your area, will you fight them?

Won't you give them false fearful smiles while waving at them?

Is that a sign of welcome from your heart?

Lesson of Life. Never stay too long in power be it political or Mornachical power, U are bound to loose goodwill, good judgement and political capital. All in all, the law of diminishing returns will set in, without equivocation, people will prefer anything less or primitive creatures to lead them than you.

Ask Saraki ( Omo baba oloye ni Ilorin)

Ask Tinubu ( Omo iyaloja of Lagos)

Saraki, Tinubu and Putin all have one thing in common, enjoying political leadership and optics since 1999 (24yrs at the top). Saraki may be less in years anyway.

It’s very obvious Putin ordered his men to stand down to avoid a civil war that the west could easily take advantage of. I like his wisdom on this particular issue, no be everything be “force force force. This man go soon die by assassination, there’s no way Russia would let him live for long. He made a serious error

The Russian FSB was there all through and did not see any direct threat to Putin, Prigozhin never mentioned nor disrespected Putin if you observe, he perhaps collected huge payment from CIA to pull off this scheme as a mercenary.
He also wanted to humiliate Shoigu and Gerasimov whom he sees as rivals by making them to flee from their command post in Rosto von don.

so you expect Russia capital to turn Sudan capital where military and paramilitary are tormenting civilians population everyday, what happened in Russia yesterday show you guys how sensible putin and his generals are, any air strikes or seriousl fight with a mad man like Wagner chief would have lead to destruction and killing of civilians
