We Nigerians like to make things difficult for ourselves.

If you are traveling internationally as a tourist with a visitor's visa, you must have a round-trip ticket.

A one-way ticket can only be used for travel by people who have a work visa or permit, a study visa or permit, or an immigrant visa.

Used klm
Flight 11:45pm on 22nd arrived Amsterdam past 7am.
Next flight for 12pm Netherlands time, we boarded and one story to another by klm for 4hrs inside plane then on the run way moving already before they said AC is bad etc they sha cancelled the flight booked for only one night for hotel and flight is supposed to be in 2days time(Saturday 5pm) and my conference is on friday abi what is this nothing wey man fit do. They said the hotel will update it... OK ooo.
We sha wait to use hotel that's outside of the airport, immigration refused because we don't have schengen or Netherlands visa but later they sha run Background check and gave some of us 2days stay visa inside Netherlands and passport stamped naxo I sha enter and still see my elder brother.

Back to the hotel matter, after first night and now check out time na im hotel ppl tell us say klm paid for 1night and we had to leave(this happened to all ppl in different hotels) we got back to airport and klm told us to pay for 2nd night including other expenses and we will be refunded... issorite ooo

Saturday sha came and we zoomed but then some people are still left as plane over full and klm asked for volunteers who are willing to cancel their flight and will be compensated... to cut it short we landed successfully.

At POE I didn't spent up to 50secs

Officer: what are u here for

Me: xyz conference (didn't even ask if conference passed or not as the flight delay caused it)

Officer: is this related to your profession?

Me: YES, she checked my information on her system.

Officer: How many days are you staying and what accommodation?

Me: x days and y hotel

Big boss,thank God you arrive canada safetly,l remember your boss left for Nova Scotia on study permit at CBU on April 7th and got job on 16th, you here now on visit visa and you one of thoes who advocate it easy to change from visit visa to work status and people thst share their honest view and experience you call them negativity now ur positivity is here please keep us update on the truth situation as the count down begins for u to get job via lmia then change to work status .we dey read as u begin to write the memo..please keep us update sir

I will submit my application on tuesday and book biometric soon. Last question please, i have been refused a U.S visa previously as early as this year. But i only answered yes to the u.s refusal, i didnt add year and reason of refusal. Do you think i should add it or just tell them "Yes, I have been refused a U.S Visa before". Yes, she can. Some people submitted bank statements for 4 or 5 months, and their visas still got approved.

As for me, I like to follow the instructions to avoid a touching story.

The klm staff in naija was just too extra, even after I booked he still profiled me, asking how I quickly got money to book. He believed it was fake, he went to the counter to confirm twice. I had to go to klm ticketing booth to get confirmation note before he allowed me.

I know someone that flew with airfrance, she only settled them with 15k. To avoid issue it’s best to just book return.

Boss I get your point n support it. I guess the way you presented it made it look like you’re spreading negativity. We’re all adult, you can’t force anyone to accept your advice. Just give your advice n allow accept or ignore, once you start arguing n forcing t on ppl’s throat it will give a negative impression.
