Most African side can't defend set piece male or female team
carbonado:
....True, however, Zambia was basically ball watching on the 2nd goal, seems they are poor at defending dead balls and also they were smaller compared to the Irish.

Ireland is very good on set piece
I think their most potent attacking style is aerial. I counted almost a dozen cross and nod from the highlight alone. They didn't really threatening on ground.

They attack us like that, Nnadozie to Imuran to start counter. Imuran to Any of Echegini or Oshoala.... O pari!

This is another WC and i am afraid some of those player with wack shooting ability/accuracy will do same 4yrs after once more. We will see sweet shooting chance and na one useless shot go come out. Smh. I hooe that will be different this time.

Arguably the most Complete SuperFalcons Striker Uchenna Kanu in one of her interviews reveals that she’s the Fastest in the SuperFalcons team… Could this be true??

We all know that Asisat Oshoala used to be the quickest but right now she has lost a lot of pace considering age setting in and Barcelona Style of Play..

Fransisca Ordega seems to have lost some of her pace too..
Nicole Payne, Rofiat Imuran, Tony Payne, Rash are another Speedy players.

Germany 🇩🇪 2-1 Vietnam 🇻🇳
Krimbiegel 2' Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha 90+2
Minge 79

Damn thought the score would have been bigger for Germany, good for Vietnam.

I predicted that it was gonna be either 5-0 to Germany or 5-1 with Vietnam sneaking on in, well my prediction was almost right though this was Germany B, so l'm not gonna judge to hard. Congrats to Vietnam.

Not the best German team, half of the team that played today game will not even be in the wc squad, Poop, Oberdorf, Huth, Lohman, Magul, Schuller, etc. would have killed vietnam

WHERE DID CHIDINMA OKEKE GET IT WRONG

Chidinma Nkeruka Okeke (22yrs) Hapoel Beer Sheva FC, ISRAEL 🇮🇱

Okeke is a physically strong defender known for her speed, technique and offensive capabilities. She can play as a full-back or Center Back although she usually plays on the right. She has good dribbling skill and is noted for her involvement in counter-attacks by making crosses or long passes, a defender that showed her defensive ability and attacking flair by producing a genius performance when she replaced Faith Michael for Nigeria against Norway in their first game of the FIFA Women's World Cup. Her physique enables her to perform well in aerial duels and 1v1 situations.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQgwk_ekaSk

Chidinma Okeke started her career in soccer as an attacker. She did not get anything wrong however Nigeria did. Nigerian football authorities hire football agents as coaches.

Yes She started as an attacker but finally settled down as a Defender which she has been doing till date. I think injuries also played his path too cause she was released by Madrid CFF after recovering from a Long term injury and with her contract out, came back to Nigeria before she finally signed for the Israel Clubside she currently playing for.

Just hope she play her way back to a Top Club/League side as she possesses a lot of qualities of a good Defender.

Ireland coach: Zambia Has Exposed Super Falcons To Us

Ireland Women’s national team coach Vera Pauw says his players now have an idea on how to tackle the Super Falcons, as he expressed his delight with the run-out against Zambia in a pre-Women's World Cup tune-up, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Speaking after Ireland’s 3-2 defeat of Zambia at Dublin’s Tallaght Stadium on Thursday evening, Pauw said the Copper Queens offered a similar challenge to Group B opponents Nigeria.
“We know what it is to play an African team now,” the former South Africa coach said.

“You will never get this against a European team, this style of play, physical pressure, pressure that constantly goes over you in power and pace.

“That sort of play you will not get.”

I don’t think it’s this Zambia game that gave her an idea of how to play the SuperFalcons. She used to be the Coach of SA and knows Nigeria too well after meeting on several occasions..

In bold are part of the sporting business. Professional teams are not patient enough to wait an injured players to recover. This is juncture where national teams come help. She is very young and should have been included.

He does not need any preparatory match with any African team to knockdown Nigerian Falcons. All he needs to do is take a look at the tired legs Nigeria brough to Australia.

You can Clearly see their age there, and I wonder why this same old Leg issue again. If you look well those 29yrs and above are arguably playing at their last World Cup except 1 or 2 and they ain’t doing bad either…

I did not write about "Old leg". I do not know how you arrived at the old legs. Let me take a dive with you on the leg thing. Young leg can be tired leg too. I am not against the selection of Deborah Abiodun, however, if she was not committed to University of Pittsburgh, where Randy is presently a coach, she would not have been selected. What happened to Nigerians girls who ply their trades in Nigerian league?

Margret Belemu is arguably the best Zambian Defender and one of the best Right Back in Africa... If there is any player who have caught my attention more from the Zambians side it has to be her, whenever I watch her play I just remember our very own Magic 15 ( Ugo Njoku)

Belemu is not as Aggressive as Njoku but she is clearly an absolute baller. 🙌🏾

Injuries injuries injuries, Sad that it came when she was already stamping her feet on the big stage as a Star to keep hold of. She’s still very young, If injury doesn’t set in again which we don’t pray for with a lot of hardwork and dedication she can play her way back to the big Leagues and SuperFalcons.
