I think Otti stopping the agbero system in Abia totally has angered PDP. Money generation for them has stopped, and good thing is that there are no agberos anymore, so I heard. 1 Like |

Okezie Ikpeazu was an easy going fellow. Abians didn't suffer during the lockdown of COVID 19 as he wasn't particularly strict on movements and market openings unlike the hell that Wike put Rivers people through. When the nose mask became a big problem,he advised Abians to go the improvise, hence Aba began to make the nose masks which went nationwide. There were near zero cases of kidnapping and unknown gunmen in Abia. His major shortfall was his failure in paying Government workers. Too bad in that regard but then,he was just an easy going fellow. Otti is set to work but then, he needs to apply some level of wisdom. Acting military and autocratic won't augur well with Abians. He needs the goodwill of Abians to succeed and he shall succeed. God bless Abia State |

Chase them all away Otti. Do not allow them breathe else they'll bounce back and derail everything. Forget not to disband the autonomous community chief criminality system. Let the communities revert back to their old chieftaincy system where the communities take care of their chiefs instead of the government. |

Karlman: There is no such thing as 'moral grounds' for not doing their duty as the opposition party to check the ruling party even if they have failed and misruled for decades, it remains their right and duty to ensure there is an alternate power base and a brake to the throttle of government. The punishment for misrule is that they have lost power, that is enough. The State should not be plunged into an autocratic, one party rule. Abeg you folks should spend more time studying what democracy is all about. It is not a sunday afternoon cultural meeting place. If the Labour party is appointing key government officials without the legislative approval that it misrule and that kind of lawlessness does not bode well for a State that wants to move forward. There are too many dangers about that. The people should be scared of another ruler that wants to operate without accountability. Have we not had enough of that in this sorry country. Citizens should take a collective stand for the rule of law and stop giving misleading signals to our leaders. If anyone has committed crimes against the State in the past they should be prosecuted. It is individuals that go to jail not political parties. |
