very stunning visuals both on land and underwater, superb eye candy that can only be enjoyed on a quality file or in the cinema. Kudos to James Cameron.

Interesting story, they could have done more with the story than how they left it. I didn't see any much glaring issues with it but it just felt weird as if they could have achieved more. I also find it weird that the kid has no problems or aversion whatsoever killing multiple people all at once without any emotional reaction. It felt robotic. The acting deserved better.
With a high concept film like this similar to HBO's "Westworld", writing, acting and delivery would have elevated the craft.
The reason for the turn to villainy by the agency seems too shallow and smells likely just written to progress the story.

Ultimately, delivery hindered it. It was a decent watch for me nonetheless and I kinda enjoyed it.
