Yeah there are few words in yoruba that can also be found in Igala but linguistically Igala is very far from yoruba.

It's far more than few. 20% of Igala (main Igala) words are yoruba

Stop writing nonsense and misinforming the public.
There is no Igala in Igbo-eze.
Ette is a trilingual community shared between Igbo, Igala and Idoma at the tip of Enugu State.
The man in question is from Enugu Ezike and they are not Igalas.
They are Igbos.

And mind you, there are more than 30 Igbo speaking communities in Kogi East senatorial zone.

There are millions of Igalas in South East states of Anambra and Enugu. That you hate to share South East with them doesnt mean that they are not from there

Igala man, there are no Igala in Anambra or Enugu. What we have are descendants of Igala farmers and refugees who were accommodated by Igbo aboriginals in the land.
Move on.

There are no such thing as millions of Igalas in Enugu and Anambra.
Kogi East has up to 1 million Indigenous Igbos, if you want to go that way, but Igalas don't even recognize them, they claim they are migrants even when they are in their ancestral lands and were unfortunate to be carved into Kogi state.
But Igalas want Ndiigbo to recognize their presence in SE.
It will not happen. You will first recognize and officially accord full rights without attempts at assimilation to about 70 Igbo speaking towns in Kogi East.
I can list them for you if you care. Until you do so, Ndiigbo will never recognize Igala in SE. We will label them migrants like you label our people in Kogi East.
What is good for the goose is also good for the gander.

Lol.. Stop being emotional and let us discuss logically.

At no time were the indigenous Igbos labelled as migrants or even discriminated against. It is very surprising that someone will accuse Kogi people of not accepting other tribes as Kogi is not like a typical South East state. Because Kogi is highly multilingual with so many tribes in it. Igbos in Kogi are just one of the many tribes in Kogi which is nothing special.

There are millions of Igalas in the south east and I am not telling you this to accept as your acceptance is inconsequential.

Here is a comprehensive list of Indigenous Igbo speaking towns and communities in Kogi East.
These people speak Igbo as mother tongue and Igala as second language and have lived in their land for as long as they remember. Their towns have Igbo names as well.
But Igala people insist they either assimilate as Igala or accept migrant Igbo who are living in Igalaland tag.
Yet these same funny Igalas want Ndiigbo to acknowledge their people living in SE.
In this country, it would seem everyone holds Ndiigbo to standards they themselves can not keep.
As long as Igala will not acknowledge Indigenous presence of Igbos in Kogi East, Ndiigbo will not acknowledge any Igala presence in SE.
It's logical and common sense. Cooperation is built on give and take.

Millions? You must be funny.
The ratio of Igbos in Kogi to Igalas in SE is like 5:1
Do the maths.

Emotional outbursts will not win a logical discuss.

What exactly do you hope to gain by denying what everyone knows. It's not like you are in a decision making position or anything like that.

Igbos in Kogi are not special. They are treated like every other indigene of the state. There are too many tribes in Kogi for people to worry about a single tribe

Oh... You finally acknowledged there are Igalas in South East grin

I said it before. Emotional outbursts do not win a logical discuss. It's not even like your acknowledgement or not means anything to anyone otherwise you would have prevented Tinubu from appointing an Igala man from South East as Chief of Naval Staff!

Okpo ngaji.
Ikechukwu Ogalla is from Umuopu Enugu-Ezike.
He is not an Igala man.
The only Igala town in Enugu is Ette and it's a trioethnic town at Enugu and Kogi border.
It has three ethnic groups:
Idoma 60%
Igala 30%
Igbo 10%

That's the rough ethnic demographics of Ette town.
Ikechukwu Ogalla is not from Etteh. So there is no point checking whether he is from the Idoma, Igala or Igbo part of Etteh.
