chrisifeanyi:
Good morning my people, how much proof of fund will I be needing for a family of 4, my tuition fees is about CAD18,000. I'll be traveling with my wife and two children aged 9 and 2.
Must I show tuition fees for the two years masters program or just for a year?

talk2priscal:

Tuition : 18,000
Your living expenses $20,000
Living Expenses for spouse $20,000 ($10,000/year).
Living Expenses for child $6,000 ($3,000/year)
Miscellaneous Expenses $3,000+ ( may be more but $5,000 is ok).

@talk2priscal
Kindly let me add to your input.

Tuition fee: $18,000 (if this is for a year, you should add the second year tuition fee)
Living expenses: $20,000 ( $10,000/yr for the applicant)
Living expenses: $8,000 ($4,000/yr for the spouse)
Living expenses: $12,000 ($3,000/yr/child)
Miscellaneous expenses: $5,000+ ($5,000 may not be enough because of the size of the family)
TOTAL: $63,000+ (you need to add second year tuition fee if applicable and it is safe to increase the miscellaneous expenses)

NOTES:
*If the applicant is already inside Canada and has a job, he does not need to show POF for dependants-- spouse and children.

* One year living expenses for dependants could be shown if the applicant can successfully convince the VO as to how future needs of the dependants would be provided for, but it is not safe.

* One year living expenses for the applicants could also be shown if the applicant can successfully convince the VO... but it is not safe.

Good day house. I’m married with 2 kids and planning to use a sibling as a co-sponsor. I’m traveling alone and will be taking care of expenses alone while my sibling covers tuition. My program is 8 month ( 1 academic year). If living expenses plus travel expenses is $13000, what’s a good range of closing balance for me?
Also with an opening balance of around 8 million naira, should I worry about inflow and outflow?
Thank you

While inflow and outflow count in some cases and can be useful devices to explain some points, they are not to be emphasized if your funds emanate from explainable source. Inflow and outflow will explain themselves when you are showing proof of your business and its transactions.

Just ensure the POF is enough and explain lump sums, if any, beyond reasonable doubt.

Hello everyone! Please help a brother. I submitted my application on 6th of May, upfront medical on the 8th, and biometrics on the 14th of May. I submitted my eMedical sheet via Nairobi webform, however, I received a medical report request letter on the 26th of May. I have been sending emails and webforms with my eMedical sheet, yet, no response.
Today, I received my BVL, but got a notification that my medical report hasn't been received by IRCC. Today makes it exactly 30 days since I received a medical request.
What should I do regarding this? I'm beginning to panic😥.

You should have reached out to the hospital much earlier to confirm if your medical exam was actually transmitted to IRCC and if possible, get them resubmit your exam result. Even though you keep sending the med. slip you receive from the hospital, IRCC cannot update ur file based on that alone and if the hospital has not sent them any result, I'm sure the last thing IRCC will do is to contact the hospital on your behalf to get them send your result.
Rather than sending countless webforms, contact the hospital to be sure your medical has been sent. Pressure them to send you confirmation that it has been sent.
You are very close. Keep hope alive. God is with you

Thanks a lot for the response. I called IOM and they confirmed that they sent the results to IRCC since 29th of May. I really confused.

Hey guys! Im new to this thread, I applied for a study permit from Berlin Germany on the 3rd of may 2023 medicals wasn’t requested for, as I have a valid Uk visa for 2 years and a German temporary residence permit. I got a Bvl correspondence on the 19th of June and ever since no update. Is this a positive sign or negative sign ? Look forward to your comments.

Regards.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by macdeeza: 3:05pm On Jun 26, 2023
The hospital can issue you a confirmation note. That you can send to IRCC with a well written letter. you can send a webform and email copies to Nairobi, Lagos and Abuja consular offices. When you send email or webform, make sure the email address you have on your application form is the one you use in every correspondence with IRCC else they wont acknowledge any info sent from a different email.

NOTE: If the email stated on ur study permit application form is different from the email for ur GCkey account, you have to use the one on your study permit application form.

Using rate of 590, a closing balance of 8.5m to 9m is healthy enough

Thank you
bullstriker:

The company must be financially buoyant if it belongs to a third party, and the cash flow must be very healthy to sponsor you single-handedly. For instance, it will be challenging to convince the VO that funds will be available if the third-party company’s annual revenue (based on cash inflow) is not more than the cost of your education by a wide margin. Note that the scenario is viewed differently if the company belongs to a family member. Alternatively, the company can pledge to bear a specific cost of your education or approve a paid study leave, assuming the applicant is an employee of the company. Please, my response is not to discourage you but to help you make an informed decision.

You can provide some of these documents, if applicable

Proof of business Reg
One-year bank statement (you can submit MBS)
Tax documents
Letter of sponsor
The board of directors’ resolution on financing your education
Proof of business transactions like invoices, receipts, contracts etc

This list is not exhaustive.

Good day all,

I have a Bsc in Political Science, and I recently got an offer for a 2year ONTARIO COLLEGE DIPLOMA in Human Resources. It’s a post secondary program, although I had earlier applied for PGC but the school gave me the post secondary diploma in Human Resource.

Please I am worried, has anyone with BSC ever gotten visa for post secondary diploma programs?

Good evening. My sister got admission but her admission letter is conditional as they await her WAEC result which will be out later in August.
Do you recommend she still go ahead to apply for her study permit. As she was told by her school that she can upload her secondary school transcript while apply for her Visa, which she used In application for her admission.

I will be grateful if you can be of assistance
Thank you

Hello guys good morning y'all..
A friend of mine who's going to Conestoga has her Application approved but she's yet to make school fees payment, as she only paid 1500cad Tution deposit. She tried using formA to pay the balance of her first semester school fees but had to cancel it cos this new CBN policy that puts an end to CBN rate.. according to her, she was adviseable by her friend already in Canada to pay school fees else one might be denied entry into Canada upon landing. So pls can she at least pay 5000cad out of 8500cad?? And does she need to inform the school of her intention to pay 5000cad before making the above payment?? or she should just go ahead and pay cos she intends to pay through flywire.. pls your input is highly needed thanks.

She can make payment of any amount so long as she pays the amount requested before the deadline.
She can also decide to wait till she gets to Canada to pay, she will have to show the CBSA officers she has funds available to pay when she gets to the POE.
They cannot return applicant for not paying, what they can do is give the person a short SP duration and request the person to pay and come back for extension.
