1TB SSD as shown on the reciept, is what was ordered, but what was delivered reads 1TB "harddrive"

Are they thesame?

I don't want to open the pack incase I need to return it

It's most likely SSD though. The computer make looks recent.

SDD: Solid State Drive.
HDD: Hard Disk Drive.

What you have is an SSD.

Bros that carton was bought u are. What u bought was. Not brand new system but a packaged system. When u open it the laptop will be very clean but if is uk used. Lol

A SSD and HDD

So when u see harddrive don't be afraid
It could be a SSD or HDD

Since it's written SSD there it means it is

If you still doubt
Search defrag on your pc
Click on harddrive
It will show u if it's SSD or hdd

Most of the laptop you buy here are upgraded, buying 16gb/256 from hp will be very expensive,so they buy the 16gb RAM and SSD here and upgrade it themselves.

That doesn't mean some sellers don't buy this specifications directly and sell ,some do.

It's a 12th gen laptop,it will definitely come with SSD which is faster than HDD.
Power on the laptop and boot into setup,the SSD name or number will be stated there,you can Google it to check if it is SSD or HDD ,it be on a save side.

I'm suspecting it's a printing error from the seller,if you ordered for the one with SSD or HDD just check to confirm or report what you notice.

Opened it eventual, it's 1TB SSD, 16gb RAM, but..... noise from fan, Battery not up to 5hours.
Everything else excellent.

Kindly please return back the new laptop to the seller if you haven't open the laptop cartoon SSD is completely different from HDD even though both are hard disk, new Generation laptops starting from 7th, 8th,10th,11th Gen comes with SSD the functionality and compatibility of SSD hard disk can be never be compared to an HDD hard disk thank God you are able to quickly notice this before you open up the laptop cartoon quickly return the laptop asap the seller know what he or she is doing they do this if you are novice buyer just to make money off you, buying laptop in this age and time requires a bit of knowledge and information , SSD hard disk is way much more better than HDD hard disk if you don't want to be reloading and reinstalling your laptop OS at intervals due to OS crashes.

I don't know why some laptop sellers are not honest, straight forward and sincere.

I just dey tell am the method I dey us identify if my harddrive na HDD or SSD

This is a core i3, 12th generation laptop

It'll surely come with SSD, no worries

Shake it really hard. If it breaks, HDD.
