Like I said you don't have to believe me.

Read the article you Posted the link, and tell me if something fishy is not being covered. You're free to think otherwise, an argument is not something I'd like to engage in.

Not only are they identifying as animals, some are also using animal sound as a means of communication.

As a teacher, If a child meows to me, I'm expected to pretend as if I understand her.

But I trust my country people, they won't take this nonsense.

When our last born at home became a teenager and he started misbehaving, I remember my Father told him plainly, if you want to start behaving like a goat, I'll treat you like one grin

Nobody told my guy to adjust his behavior, baba gave himself brain.

This gender fluidity nonsense is causing some serious issues in their elementary schools. Now they are encouraging children approaching puberty to start taking hormone blockers (drugs used to delay puberty), just incase they later decide to transition into another gender.

Creating unnecessary identity crises among the kids.

In some areas, they've even gone as far as giving kids the liberty to self declare gender without the parent's consent.

While in Spain, kids above the age of 16 can undergo gender changing surgeries without parent's consent.

No matter how much they want to whitewash it, 16 years old is pretty young.

Funny how the least expensive movie has the biggest box office as well as profit margin. Universal definitely singing to the bank.

Like I predicted, The Little Mermaid forces it's way into highest grossing films of the year.

Fast _X_ and The Little Mermaid have good grosses but their production budget will drag them down.

Funny thing is despite underperformance from CBM genre, it still has FOUR movies in the global top ten.
Of course things might change in later months. But it's still holding its ground.

Yet it hasn't broken even. Factoring marketing cost, I doubt it breaking even. Same fate awaits Fast X. After pumping in millions of dollars, no profit to smile home to, movie investors day try oo. Their only hope right now is to pray no blockbuster movie is released between July and August.

Although, theirs is much better in comparison to The flash and Transformers. These 2 should just forget about breaking even, their performance were piss-poor. They should just count their losses and move on. With all the marketing Flash did, it still flopped hard. I really wanted the movie to succeed at the box office. With it's horrible performance so far, i guess this might be the last solo Flash movie we might be seeing in a long while. If i were an investor, mere mentioned Flash to me, i fit stone you.

What I really hate is the fact that its normal for them to not include the marketing costs in the budget report. It makes you calculate the break even point to be much lower.

β€˜THE FLASH’ is set to release on digital platforms on July 18.

That's further down than I expected. I was expecting first week of July. But now it's just over a month.
What is a flop doing in theaters for a month?

WTF are you waffling about?

How is this a budget report? Merely stating production budget of a film is different from a budget report.

A proper financial report states a project's production cost, marketing and distribution cost, interest, profit participation, residuals etc. If you seek out the marketing costs you'd see it.

Everyone knows it Standard industry procedure to multiply the production budget by 2.5x or 3x to calculate the Break Even Point & profitability if you don't have the marketing costs and distribution etc numbers.

Yes, it has a slight chance of not breaking even, but if the movie somehow grosses up to $600mn+ as projected and continues to perform strongly in US & Canada, then it has a slim chance of actually breaking even.

If it does that, then the film has a slight chance of turning profit on VOD sales, DVD sales, airlines aggregation and cable TV. This is where sometimes, movie that ain't successful at the box office makes up for it in the secondary market.
And this is the advantage that theatrical released movies have over streaming exclusives. Multiple financial window to profit from.

Batman and Robin was a critical and financial flop of monumental proportions in the 90s but was revived by Bale and Nolan. It's probably the most hated Batman film ever. Same can be said of Superman movies in the 80s until Man of Steel.

Any reputable director or studio executive can revive the Flash franchise with the right tools. Especially since the performance of the said movie Isn't about the quality of the movie itself but the main actor. It's more of a moral war.

Nope. Streamers typical don't drop figures they make for individual films or TV shows. You'll just see the overall financials for the streamer in quarterly reports. For streamers like Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV plus, they don't even waste their time showing you their financial reports. You can barely even quantify their subscriber numbers.

For streaming, the power is in the overall content you provide and customers finding value in your content and subscribing. With the right sauce you'll struggle to make some money. πŸ˜‰

Your profit actualization analysis is apt, you really know your onions.

Just as you said, i concur. So long as there isn't a movie that'd disrupt or shake the box office to it's favor between July and August, there's still hope for both movies.

Right now i don't think studios wouldn't even care for profits for the aforementioned movies, their main aim would be to break even, atlest that way, expenses and revenue would be balanced, no loss no gain, just equilibrium.

Well, let's keep our fingers crossed and watch as events unfold.

I dunno how to explain this and matching the sarcasm of the post and making it fun. πŸ™ƒ Anyways....

It's about the marketing strategy of upcoming films Barbie & Oppenheimer. Barbie has tons of marketing in both merchandise, custom sets and almost anything you can think of and it looks like Oppenheimer got no promo at all for its fans.

Since Oppenheimer is a biopic about the nuclear scientist who created the atomic bomb and consequently led to tens of thousands of people losing their lives for the war to end β€” it makes it practically impossible to literally replicate the type of marketing Barbie has.

Unless one plan on actually replicating a way to detonate a nuke and making it look realistic for fans without actually detonating a live nuclear bomb. πŸ’£

Either ways, the Oppenheimer fans are certain of earning total misery or mutually assured destruction if Oppenheimer takes its marketing literally. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

It's just cruise amongst fans tho.

I just need one of these two as Lex and the other can be Swamp Thing. Bill might fit Alec Holland. They both got the range.
