Hello, I captured March 22nd in Abeokuta. I tracked my application now, it's saying passport printing in progress. I heard that sometimes the passport might have been ready and still be saying printing in progress. Pls how true is this??

Bro.... there's high chances that your passport is ready with March 22nd been your captured date.Its after you pick up your passport they'll update it from"printing in progress to passport pick up blah blah"

Which is advisable for a new passport, Ikeja, Abeokuta or Sagamu?

Hello guys, please I noticed on the confirmation slip given to me after capturing that it has only my first and last name and no middle name, I am assuming that is how it’s going to appear on the end product of the passport after production? My NIN has 3 names while I also provided all 3 names on the application form? All my credentials have 3 names
Would this be an issue?

Good Evening Friends, I applied for my Int'l Passport on the 30th Of December 2022. Using the DIY. And when I checked my dashboard it showed Passport collected but I haven't collected it, does that mean that my passport would have been ready for collection?

Hello guys, Because of marriage, my wife is changing her name on her passport. She has done the name change on nin and using nin mobile application , we see that my surname has reflected, but the person helping us at the immigration office is still saying that her nin is still yet to be linked, It has been a month now of back and forth without fruitful result. As anyone in the house experienced this issue ? what did you do to resolve it ? I will appreciate if someone can help me out on this as we need her passport out before mid of next month. Also to add, when I tracked the passport on immigrant portal, I see that it the nin verification has a red border, this confirms what the immigration officer was saying because initially, I thought she was lying and just didn’t want to help.

Issued/Collected...if you haven't collected then for you it's issued

This is the story of my life since April and still not resloved... Ive tried all means possible but no way, I even went to NIMC OFFICE at Alahusa every week, the issue hasn't been resolved as they told me there that my NIN has been verified and validated and truly I saw it at NIS office that it has been updated but on the side of NIS, it is yet to get updated.

It is called NIN DROPPING ISSUE. That was what the PCO told me. I do go there every week but til this moment no remedy yet. I'm already fed up and give up on this passport stuff. I'm totally tired.

This is not an issue. Mine was first name and middle name that was written on the small paper given to me. I have collected my passport with everything intact.

Let her do affidavit of change of name and newspaper
Publication, take it to NIN office to effect the change of the surname to yours, they will print another copy for her, show that the change have been effected.

When does this now trigger the passport approval.

Please ask your contact how long it will take for change of name by marriage. FCT or Gwags?

I just collected my international passport today (i would have collected it since last week but experienced delays due to some rising matters)
It wasn't DIY,
I started processing 27th of April
I captured 10th of May in Abuja

Money spent in total = 55k

Please keep us updated on this change of name due to marriage.

One thing about international passport issue yes i learnt is that if you are very desperate in getting anything done on your passport the immigration guys will milk you dry

Good day nairalander, please I need help on my kids passport tracking, they captured since 17th February at alausa and we haven't collected it yet, we went last week and we are told to come back in 2 to 3 weeks time, that's it's up, they haven't brought it down.

Main concern now is that, I have been tracking it since February to get the update, it didn't pop up for the three application, I use two different immigration site I found on Google, please help out.

Is it possible I'm not getting the numbers to type in the right spot or what.
I use the application ID number and the enrollment number for the reference number.

Please is there anyone that captured Last week of January in Alausa that has collected their passport?
