The next generation of Yoruba coming up will be laying curses on this present generation of Yoruba's when the consequences of the slogan "Igbos leave Yoruba land and go back to your state" start germinating.. It might take take.. Some of these people championing this would become grandpas by then ..

Lagos will become a shadow of itself (You can call it chest beating) What drives the economy is SME and you know the tribe dominating in that .

I use to hear that if Igbos leave other tribes will replace them , which other tribes are you talking about ? SS minorities that are still regarded as Igbos in the eyes of average Yoruba man on the street ?
What made you think they would stay back knowing fully well they would be vulnerable because Igbos are the ones shielding them all these while(You can call it chestbeating again)

After Ore, any other human being is regarded as Omonna in the eyes of average Yoruba man on the street despite all the efforts to educate them that there is difference..

Look at Edo people that are close to Yorubas are called Omonna by Yoruba people, is it other non Igbos in SS will remain in SW ?..

Is it @boki people you would like to stay with ? grin grin grin cheesy

The consequences of these people's madness is going to be a very heavy one ..
Next generation of Yorubas won't forgive this current generation of yorubas because they are the ones that will be the worst hit when the chips are down ...

Ibadan the former capital of West should have taught you guys a bigger lesson, but you love learning in a bitter way..

Don’t Interfer with local politics. In the 80-90s when ibos did not mass migrate to Lagos it was less congested

This is an interesting piece but the postulation holds no water. Lagos will survive without the Igbos or any other tribes whatsoever because of its population and economic infrastructure which attract people from all over the world.

in June 12 1993, Majority of Igbos that left Lagos became poor and never regain from the mistake they made leaving Lagos till today.

Igbos left Lagos in drove thinking there would be war in Yorubaland. The conspiracy the Igbo had with the Northern military in annulling June 12 election later backfired as a Yoruba-man (Obasanjo) became a President afterward and this relegated them politically being replaced with the South-south in the scheme of things.

Igbos in the house, please ask from your fathers and mothers this simple truth.

Where are they going? Can they leave?
Only people that take care of their homeland can go back.
The Igbos have no where to go. Why?
1. They are blessed with weak leaders that will rather spend their stolen money on running after young girls.
2. They have no respect for themselves or for their homeland.
3. There is nothing exceptional in the East.
4. Lagos is their little New York; most of them will rather relocate to Lagos than staying in the village and make East a stronger place.

At least they will have their lands back to themselves. Land is a resource that can be used to create wealth. It is better than for their children not to have any legacy and identity because because have invaded and taken over their lands. They can then invite the Chinese and Koreans for business while they secure their land for themselves. Igbos are land grabbers and are not wanted if they refuse to respect and obey their host.

Igbos don't dominate SMEs, igbos dominate sales of piracy and substandard products, it's all fraudulent, yes I will say it anywhere, Igbos are not business oriented, all they do is pirate other people's products for their own living, Igbos are a curse for every new product, in a sane Climate, you guys wouldn't have means of survival because sales of substandard products is criminal

You are ethnocentrically emotional.

I can call all you type here, a blackmail and nothing outside it.

Even if you think it, from now till you give up, Nigeria is not going to be divided, rather, every Nigerian will live to witness a better Nigeria from now on, including your family.

You guys can not gain anything from the hatred you are brewing among the citizens - the war drum you are beating.

Unfortunately for you, a major population of your tribesmen, most especially the elites, understand that the likes of you, are wandering among them, do exist but you know what, they don't give a fvck, neither do we too, you are an abandoned project!

The population you're talking about is same thing the poster talked about.

Asaba was like Lagos back in the days and the same thing the Yorubas are doing is same thing Warri indigenes did. If anyone was told Warri will degerate to this extent, no one would've believed. Those who fail to learn from history are bound to repeat it.

As for me I wish the Igbos would leave Lagos too, and as the poster said, if the Igbos leave other SS tribes would leave too.
