Hi thank you for your response. I had a single entry visa. I also have people that arrived with a UK visa and were turned back but they all didn't plan their trip well as they had return flight that was going to transit the USA (Big Mistake). Their POE officer can be funny though. Blackfinegirl: |

kolidave: Check for mrschengenvisa on Twitter or Instagram. He provides flight bookings and travel insurance at very cheap rates. I personally use the official travel company for my employer so it’s a complimentary service 2 Likes |

zizle87:From what I’ve found, invitations from people living in a country is actually not beneficial for tourist visas unlike business visas. It shows that if you decide to stay back, it’s easy for you because you have a place to stay. If you decide to reapply, attach family pictures, state clearly in your letters that you have no one in France and you have very strong home ties in your family and you’ll be coming back. I was also denied because I stated that I had someone in the Schengen region. All the best. |

Total anarchy reigns in France at the moment, the situation is worse than in 2005, chaos broke 🇫🇷 In Paris, police stations are burning, schools destroyed, looting at every turn, over 70 big fires right now not counting cars, garbage cans and everything else. 🇫🇷 In addition to Paris, dozens of other big cities are fighting with the protesters, the special units are also involved, the French authorities said that they are not the first to give in and that they will deal with everything that is happening. https://twitter.com/SpriterTeam/status/1674553270084198402 |

Ayinke93: Trust me I sent even more proof. Business and all. Letter of meeting I’m expected to attend for verification with the federal government plus my friend had previously sent an invite just last month to another friend and she was given. With the proof I sent, if they could deny especially when it’s huge benefits then I feel they didn’t just want to give. Even family living in France can’t stop me from returning to collect money that the government owes. Especially when it’s not little. The officer was probably having a bad day. Lol . Meanwhile I thought the idea of an invite is to be able to hold someone responsible if you do not return . |

I was asked to insert 'purpose of payment' for tuition fee part payment but there's no place for such. I don't know how to go about it

zizle87: I said the same when I was denied too. I even work for a company there and I was also invited. When I got an immigration lawyer to look over my denial, and he started breaking down all my mistakes, I was surprised. So you may want to reapply and correct those mistakes. I’m sure they had a reason for the denial. 1 Like 1 Share |

Ayinke93: It’s my second attempt. My friend had worked in the embassy before she moved to France. I honestly didn’t want to re apply until she convinced me to because she was looking forward to us seeing after over 10years. I only applied because she urged me to. I can try to appeal but I’m not sure I want to go through such a process of applying again.i only wanted 12days |

Could you share the learnings here. Your other post highlighted income inconsistencies and lack of home ties - could you expand on these? It will be very useful for others planning trips. Thanks. Ayinke93: |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Newbiein2016: 8:02pm On Jul 02, 2023 |
Yes, but the onus will be on them to prove strong home ties and that they are not a flight risk. I've heard people say that sponsoring adults from Nigeria is quite hard so my 2 cents is they'll need to do a lot of work and provide ample supporting documents to prove they'll return home. Go through the thread and you'll see what others did and how to put together a strong application. zionuklove: |
