That 12GB RAM is actually 2GB RAM. Na the Linux Kernel them take go use software rewrite am to 12GB 😂😂😂

I don't know if you remember about over a decade ago when 8GB was like the biggest memory card then. People go dey sell fake 8GB cards that were actually 2GB or even 1.5GB. Na software tricks.

Anyone who buys that phone deserves whatever they get.
I bought one from jumia then advertised 128gb. But the max it can go is around 40/42gb anything above this will start reading error. Jumia refunded me sharply. The memory card is still with me sef.

Person need to shine eyes anything techy o

I feel it's only a noob that will believe having more RAM without even considering the Soc means the phone is great.

And the extended RAM thing to me has been a scam,I remember when I was using the Redmi note 8 ,I didn't notice any difference at all when turn on.
good morning boss. A friend of mine's Laptop; a Dell Vostro screen had refused to come one. But he said it beeps 7 times. What could be the cause please?

7 beeps according to dell beep codes is processor failure and from experience it's a BIOS issue or SIO/PCH failure.

The easiest first, which is programming the BIOS chip.

You forgot to mention that the type of memory used also matters. Two phones can have the same amount of RAM and even the same type of chipset, but if one is using LPDDR4X RAM and another is using LPDDR5X RAM the latter will be able to handle tasks better.

Hey bro nice post, I watched both of those videos and I learned a lot.
I have a question and I think you are the best person to answer it, I'm looking for a new phone (not brand new) that has a very good chipset and what I have to spend on it is 200k. What phone should I go for?
Big emphasis on chipset, camera and size no concern me

You really want me to go surfing through the new and used market? No na.

Go fish for your options, list them and then we'll look through it.

Meanwhile it's just 6GB RAM or even 4GB RAM with extras.

At least Itel was honest by adding asterisk ✳️ to their 16GB RAM claim but my fellow Countrymen and women will never read the footnotes.

Extended RAM doesn't add to the main RAM. You can't run apps off the extended RAM. It doesn't even help with active multitasking, only passively.
Then why did redmni had it to one of their phones?

It's a standard feature now. My 4 year old phone has it. Xiaomi didn't make noise about it neither did they use it to convince customers.

Contrast that with what the BBK and Transsion are doing.

Oh no no, I wasn't expecting you to do that for me. I just thought you'll already have an idea about that.
I do have a few I'm looking at, which are
Samsung galaxy s21 (Snapdragon)
Samsung galaxy s10+, s10 & s10e (snapdragon)
Xiaomi mi 11(slightly above 200k)
Xiaomi Mi 10T pro

Go for the S21 bro. Best choice. It's a 2yr old flagship but can still hold its own, pretty much decent compared to the others. But you'll have to up your budget a lil bit.
I also have one for grabs, kindly view my profile

S21 and Mi 11 are the best options here because they both use the same Snapdragon 888.

But you mentioned a strong emphasis on performance and I can tell you that the Mi 11 has the better performance.

Please note that I usually don't do this for free.
