The only update for now is that, the successful and luckiest candidates (B.sc and HND) have been interviewed on 3rd and 4th July, 2023 and everybody is waiting for the next line of action. Nobody has been finally selected yet!

The interview for ND and SSCE applicants will follow very soon.

For us that got the invites, I wish everyone the best of luck. For those that didnt, I pray for better luck in future.

Yep from KD.
scored 24 not invited.

they invited 6 (top 6) candidates per state

That was exactly what they did. Having to trim a list of about 400,000 applicants to 200 is not going to be easy. Larger % will definately be affected.
Ofcourse, some with 20 marks were invited but it was down to the performances in their States. I.e. they were the best from their States (after summing the 2 test scores).

Perhaps you scored less than 24 in your first test?
I scored 49/50 (total) and I was invited.

According to someone that attended, you should:

1. Be well dressed in suit with tie.

2. Be conversant with recent current affairs. He said he was asked the date the 10th Senate was inaugurated, difference between CCT and CCB, etc. Key emphasis on the word "current."

3. He said they also asked him how his course of study can be beneficial to ICPC.

4. According to him, confidence and the ability to properly communicate your opinion is essential.
