Almost everyone does this, not because of poverty but at some point, you wake up and tooth past is finished...so you cut it open lols untill you buy later.

Yeah.. I know it happens to people who are broke... But in my case, it happens once in awhile, not because I can't afford it, but I just outrightly forget only to remember the next day morning!!!

This has nothing to do with being rich or poor. We do this when we can't go out to get a replacement not only because we don't have money..

Yea, it happens. My wife don't discard the used tube, she keeps it. We mostly buy 3 from stores, so until it finishes, we might not remember to get another set.
Btw, I have a steady Pako (chewing stick) and bitter leaf stick coming to the rescue even when this (used paste tube) is not available.
As for soap, I love using it all, it appears as though the soap is having an extra foaming agent attached to it when it's almost exhausted
