Back in the days, muslims exhibit some cool characteristics. I remember my childhood days in nasarawa state when we will always be looking forward to the announcement of sadaqah to get free gifts and help from muslims around us, many times, they will stand in front of their house and started calling people willingly.

Nowadays, this same set of people are always noticed for wrong reasons, example, i asked for help more than 10 muslims but none help me even during their festive season. Don't get me wrong, i'm not using this to judge them.

Worst still, today muslims are Conditioning minds to see them as violent people, i passed through abj(lugbe) recently and my friend was advicing me to avoid hausa okada cuz most of them have poisoned knives and will not hesitate to stab me if i argue with them.
I can go on with many instances too justify my point.

Do thugs have any religion? If they did, they wouldn't be so violent ot mean. Those Hausa guys are Almajaris that have nothing to loose. So you have to be careful with them. For not receiving help when you ask, maybe they people you asked don't have at the time. If you had yourself you wouldn't be asking as well.

Acting defensive? I don't understand your point because they are not the only one doing okada work around that area. Ask people who reside around lugbe to gist you about those guys, i heard that any small mis understanding, na pocket knife direct. Frankly, the muslims i know where not like that

Na! They have but purposely refuse to help for reasons best known to them. I know what i'm saying boss.

About those okada boys, i can't pinpoint the reasons behind their behaviour. What i'm saying here is that muslims are not accommodating like before. Even the shout of Allah ku bar is enough to make people run for their life.

Cultism and sect,has hijacked Islam, you can't even shout Allahu akbar in public in some country.
I agree with the person that said their mallam and scholars were responsible for these evil associated with Islam.
Though, in my own belief, I think Northern culture support killings, because the Muslim in the west and east are not like that.

We need to tell ourselves the Truth, first of all, you can't give what you don't have, anyone who claim that they are good but turned wicked because of wicked acts by others is never a good person but has wickedness in them waiting for the time to exhibit the wickedness, anything or person that is evil will eventually exhibit evil, the thing with islam is rooted, example is that muslims love mohamad so much that they will not like to do things that will not please mohamad, they respect him more than their god, and will do anything that they believe according to their koran that will please mohamad, this simply means that muslims will not murder people in defense of mohamad's name if they believe that mohamad will not approve? The kill all the time for mohamad and many of them will like to commit suicide for him because they know he will approve,

In Christianity, we know that Jesus commanded that under no circumstance shall we his followers kill anyone, we are commanded to forgive every manner of offence committed against us no matters how many times, we are commanded never to hate anyone nor revenge or pay evil with evil, we are told to allow God to do His thing, to kill anyone if He want to kill, we know that our Jesus is alive and unlike some people's prophet, peaceful people and religion don't murder people in defense of anyone's name or blasphemy, meanwhile the definition of a Christian is ONE THAT FOLLOW THE TEACHINGS AND LIFESTYLE AND FOOTSTEPS OF JESUS CHRIST, anyone who is doing otherwise is not a Christian even if they claim to be one
