State and federal government must invest in expanding the power generation capacity, so Nigerians can have 24 hours electricity supply, and government must intervene to make the electricity accessible and affordable, this will further crash fuel price. Low demand brings down price. |

Parachoco:You earlier statednigerians are prepared. How? Throwing the citizens under the bus is the preparedness abi. We all know that in this our country, any political officer holder literally gets away with any offence hence the high handedness. In the western world, for instance during covid, we all saw their plans for their citizens but here, even the covid materials donated by private citizens like dangote were looted by the same people that were supposed to look out for us and no one was prosecuted. Even one used it for her birthday gifts. It's really sad. |

Parachoco:Without any cushioning for the adverse effects. You can see why people dey Japa. Over there, policies are well thought out and full implementation would not be immediate giving their citizens time to adjust. Sadly, you are supporting outright madness that keeps throwing more citizens below poverty line. What happens to gradual withdrawal that will have a timeline of max 1 yr. Note some people also supported Nazi Germany when they were the top dog. |

dre11: Subsidy politics with suffering of Nigerians depend on Naira value. Naira is almost N1000=£1. The Naira has had a most disastrous and unprecedented devaluation rate since May 29 2023. Buhari was afraid of losing election in 2019 and deferred removal of Petroleum subsidy. He deferred removal of Petroleum subsidy again to June 2023, because of fear of his unpopular APC losing the 2023 election. APC still lost the presidential election of 2023, except that after voters had cast their votes, INEC officials appointed by the APC saw APC trailing behind, and the INEC officials disabled the password for upload of votes results of the presidential election results on INEC portal. INEC officials thereafter resorted to the abandoned manual collation of votes and contrived vote figures to announce Tinubu as winner. They tell the uninitiated that they are allowed by the Constitution to resort to manual collation of votes. |
