tundein18: Christ founded Christianity. All the Jews who recognized Him as the Messiah became Christians and went into Europe after the Crucifixion, the rebellion and destruction of the Second Temple. Judaism had become Hellenized since King Herod the Edomite had all the true Jews murdered in the Pharisees and Sadducees societies that controlled the Temple and taught the generations of people. The Edomite priests began to teach of Hell and that when people died they went not to Abraham's bosom but went to the Greek hell. The Romans who dominated all the region believed heavily in the Greek gods and hell. The Romans crucified thousands of people before Jesus. No one want to fight them because they were too afraid of the cross. And they believed that they would also go to hell when they died. And being poor that they would not have the money to pay the ferry man to take them across the river to meet their ancestors. If you control the mind of people and use brutal force you can keep them enslaved forever. If you control bread that they eat to survive they will become willing slaves. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread Here is another interesting story to prove my point that Christianity was founded by Jesus. The Yorubas fought a hundred years losing war against the Fulani and British armed with guns and cannons yet surprisingly won many battles. The question is why didn't the Yorubas give up? Because the Yorubas have an ancient belief in Orun their own version of heaven in the sky. I can give you more examples that such teachings of a heavenly afterlife makes warriors out of a people. I am not Yoruba I am just using their story as a parallel to Christ's teachings. The greatest warriors are not those most ready to kill but those least afraid to die. 2 Likes |
