There is nothing you can do order than to call them and wait. I know its not easy to wait. But you have to keep hope alive.

I did my standard visa biometric on TLS Abuja on 27/06/23.

And since then, my tracking is on APPLICATION RECEIVED BY DMC.

Please, is it too early to do a paid call

Goodafternoon to you all

Someone of about 48yrs old will be applying for a student visa early next week.

He started OND 2014 and graduated sept 2016
He start HND 2017 and graduated sept 2019.

As an igbo man he said he was working with someone, and after working with the person for 15yrs the person settled him (p.s: this person's business isn't registered as it's just this normal local spare part business) and the business is no longer in existence cos owner has passed. He invested the money he was settled with into same spare part business for a short while (he didn't register his business) until he meet his wife and they got married around 2012/2013 and the wife encouraged him to go to school and got him enrolled at Lagos State Polytechnic in the year 2014 for his OND and also proceeded to his HND.

He has been working with a company since 2017 till date. He will be applying for his visa early next week. He will be getting a reference letter and employment letter from this said company to cover study gap. But his fear now is what and what can he use to show proof of what he was doing before going for his OND in 2014 and graduating HND in 2019.

For starters, start your Proof of funds(POF), so that you can use it to get your CAS. However, if you school doesn't need POF before issuing CAS, just proceed with POF, after 28 days, print out your statement (To avoid stories, you can request your SOA be signed and stamped after printing). Do your TB test, then apply for your visa, using your POF, CAS, TB test and other required docs to apply for VISA. But then if you're in Lag or Abuja; there's nothing wrong in doing your TB while your POF is running. But if you live in a state where you have to travel, then wait till your funds mature, so that when you travel, you can do your TB test, apply for VISA and if possible do your biometrics before returning to the place you're domiciled.

Guy cool down, when you get there, there are lots of Nigerians that will be ready to help you. Your worry now should be accommodation if you're yet to get. Glasgow is a pretty big city with other universities. I wouldn't mind to link you up sha.

I think your next priority should be accommodation unless you have a temporary place sorted out. Don't jump the gun.
You don't even have any of the job requirements; no bro, no proof of address.

TLS center Ikeja didn’t ask to sign document checklist for those that did self assessment at the center. Hope one is safe

They also gave free UK SIM card for use in UK for someone who hasn’t collected visa yet.

I don't know yet. They just said they want me to attend an interview to give further explanation on the application , that's why I'm asking if anyone has attended the interview before.

With respect to the boldened part, do you mean the POF amount must stay static all through the 28days? I used to think if your POF requirement is 19,200 for instance, your inflow and outflow transaction can be 19201, 19207 etc. It just shouldn’t go below 19,200, isn’t that it?

When did you submit your application and what was the exchange rate that day?

Once you check you should be able to confirm if it is okay

Please note and to everyone, you can't just top up your POF, it doesn't work that way

The evidence should be same amount from day 1 to day 28

If it isn't pay more tuition deposit to your Uni to balance out the difference due to exchange rate fluctuations

You will pay your dependant's IHS separately when you start their application.

Yes you can carry out your normal transactions but it shouldn't go below the required amount.

I was worried for a minute because I was not sure if I should proceed or just ask around first.

Thank you. I’ll proceed and pay, and would I be directed to the page where I will apply for them?

Also, do I need to add my daughter as a dependant who relies on me for financial upkeep so she can show on the application, because only my wife is showing if I don’t add her.
