If you have 2 or more certificates stated on your evaluation assessment, you have maxed out your points for your education.
Getting the BCS certificate in IT will not gain you more points.

The BCS certificate in IT is an exam taken by people who have only a Bachelors degree and looking for ways to gain more points to add to their CRS without having to go back to school.

BCS Certificate in IT gives about 33 points.

Asking for my brother.

What is the pass mark? How many modules are there to write?

Hello house
Please I have a question regarding the category based draws

I am the main applicant but I don’t have experience in any of the required categories.
Although my hubby has 6 months as a nurse aide.
Must he be the main applicant for us to be called in the category draws?
Or can I be the main applicant and we’ll get called based on his experience?
I am asking because we have a higher score with me as the main applicant.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by IvyTutors: 8:31am On Jul 05, 2023
the pass mark is 40% in each of the modules
BCS certificate in IT consists of three modules

Okay. I used Qlife. The information sheet doesn't show any medical result

bekayy:
I know that IOM emails you the result which you upload. The medical is very detailed showing the results of each test.

Good morning my people.
I need advice on who should be the primary applicant between my wife and I.
Wife: Law degree (LLB), no law school yet but completed NYSC in a law firm. Will be 25 next month.
Me: Bsc. Computer Science obtained in 2011. Spent 10 years working in the civil service. 33 this year March.

Your advices will be appreciated.

None of you have Masters yet? If yes, your wife should quickly start a 1 year masters program while working. that way, she can become the primary applicant at 26/27 years old with a minimum of 3 years work experience and a masters degree.

But if you still want to be in the pool now, probably you have already taken the Ielts exam and already done your WES, you should be the primary but focus more on exploring the PNP route.

Your wife should be the primary applicant . Let her evaluate her LLB with either CES OR IQAS , this will give her professional degree points which is the same as masters .
The only issue I have with your wife is that you did not state how many years of work experience she has . Because that might greatly reduce her scores too .
Anyways pls evaluate her LLB results and get same points as masters.

The wife doesn’t need masters as her LLB will be evaluated as a professional degree which is same as masters

Oh ok! Then the wife should be the Primary applicant then due to age.

why not use the crs tool to simulate using wife as pa and husband as pa . Then compare scores. Sigh

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/campaigns/biometrics/facts.html

You need to give your biometrics, even if you gave them in the last 10 years. As of June 14, 2023, IRCC is resuming biometrics collection for all permanent residence applicants.

https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp

If you apply for permanent residence, you need to give biometrics, if you’re between 14 and 79 years old, you need to give your fingerprints and photo for all permanent residence applications, even if you already gave us your biometrics and they’re still valid. This includes: family class, economic class.

Hi. Lawyer here. Seeing comments about your wife being able to get masters from her law degree but I'm concerned she may not get the points/work experience for it. You don't qualify to practice as a Lawyer until after you have been called to bar, i.e Law school. And there's a question about when you became qualified to practice your profession when doing the application after getting ITA. And that really is after law school, not after your LLB. You can try, seeing as IQAS evaluates just the LLB and the NOC requirement for Lawyers I think is University degree but my own concern is when it is submitted and the person reviewing it goes through the application. I don't know if its possible to get points for Masters evaluation and then your work experience is not the same thing. My thoughts are a bit all over the place but I hope you understand. For her work experience, maybe she can use Paralegal NOC

Good day everyone. I urgently need advice on an issue.

I started a new job some weeks before I submitted my PR application. However, because it's my second job and I wasn't sure I would last the month with them I didn't bother to declare it at all, in either my personal history or my empoyment history

It's two months after and I'm still with them and i'm worried that it might show up during my background check.
Please, what can I do to mitigate this cry?

Last question on this, forgive me. Can a solid reference letter stating duration of employment in the specific role suffice in the stead of pension/bank statement?

Where can I look up dollar rates and match against what the FX guys are offering?
Someone is offering to credit dollars to my domiciliary at 660naira per dollar?
Please, is this reasonable?

is there liquid reference letter . You can submit reference letter only. Its the discretion of the visa officer to accept it or request for further proofs.

Hello house, can anyone suggest what best (cheapest and shortest route) airline to use? I’m traveling with a toddler to Toronto and looking for the most affordable and shortest route to Canada. Please help!

. The cheapest flights usually have longer travel time. Egypt and Ethiopia air are usually the cheapest

Please for those who did medicals at IOM, there is a sheet they give to you after capture and registration that has your picture, passport details and various tests conducted. Is this the sheet we are to upload? Or do we wait for them to send the results via mail before uploading?

Consult flights.google.ca or wakanow. Look around. Ethiopian is mostly affordable, though that depends too. Some people have found cheap tickets with KLM or lufthansa, depending on the season. Just use one of those sites to check around. I think hopper too is a nice site to consult.

In case you don't know, lately everyone sets whatever rate they want in Nigeria. If you can afford it, you buy. I don't think you can necessarily shop for a best out there, since this is a heavily unregulated market in Nigeria.

So, you had this as a second job, in addition to a first job which is your current job and which you declared? Why are you worried it may show up in your background check?
