cochtrane: My picture and name are on the second company's website as a part of their team. I'm worried that a simple Google search would bring it up |

CorperCL: CorperCL: This is all we've talked about for the last few pages. You have 2 options: come clean and declare it now or take a chance on whether IRCC will find out. If I were a VO, googling an applicant's name and checking them out on social media would be one of the first things I'd do. Please see page 1 FAQs 17 and 41 2 Likes |

Good evening all, I need your inputs and advise on below ME:41yrs I currently possess two Masters one in Nigeria and one in U.K , i previously worked in shipping and logistics firm for 12years. Wife:32yrs she also holds a BSC , and she has experience in healthcare, she has paid for her WES and she is presently studying for IELTS. What are our chances for PNP? And who would you advise to be the main applicant? Olushola. |

CorperCL: Then that's a problem. You are better off raising a webform and letting them in one your new job. I think you may be able to get away with this. I wouldn't worry too much, as it's not an entirely big deal. Get a new employment letter, raise a webform and spill it out to them what happened. You may want to note that you didn't include it initially, because you didn't see the employment going anywhere initially and that you had an original job before then. The major problem is the search turning out that you were employed in a company you didn't state. 1 Like |

shola0505: Why not go to IRCC website and test the CRS tool with your situation? That's what's more appropriate. Give yourself possible IELTS score and state your working experience. Try with you as principal applicant and then your wife to see what works best. As for PNP, your chances are better if you have relatives in Canada, work in healthcare or Tech, etc. Go to the respective province websites and see which applies best to you. |

Hello everyone, I want to book a flight ticket to Toronto from Lagos through airfrance. I understand that my stop over will be at either Amsterdam or Paris or both. I want to enquire if I would need a transit visa. I have checked online and I’ve found conflicting information. Pls help thank you |

Tvickie:No you don’t need a transit visa. Check PPR stories on the Canadian student thread, most people go through Amsterdam or Paris. 1 Like |

Hello guys, I want to thank you all for your contribution on this EE partway it’s not easy, well I have some questions to ask. I have Bsc in Management information technology (MIT) at benin republic and I do not have any work experience in my study field but I have work experience in other job which is barbing, I have 12 years experience and I own a salon which is registered under CAC. I do not have work experience in Tech but I Know little about Tech So my questions are!! 1) How do I prove work experience as a salon owner? 2)Is there any possibility that barber can receive ITA from the EE or PNP? 3) Is barber as a profession high in demand in canada? Thanks |

kiari:You do not need a transit visa if only you will transit through one country, CDG or AMS but if you will have two stops then you must have a transit visa!!!! 1 Like 1 Share |

Good day guys I received an ITA few weeks back but when creating my Express entry profile, I listed my spouse work experience. Now post ITA, IRCC is asking to upload her work experience reference, and getting this reference is quite difficult. Can I remove her work experience and include it only in her Personal history section? Removing it will not change our score Thank you |

oyedamilola: You should claim work experience as a self-employed individual. Look here at how someone claimed points for self-employment. Yes, a barber can receive ITA from the express entry pool, should you want to claim employment experience. Barbers are TEER 3 and that qualifies. No, barbing is not a profession in high demand in Canada for a couple of reasons: most people can cut their hair themselves, so they don't need a barber. Even then, many Nigerians who are doing this work do it in their homes and, as a result, can charge very low ($10-20) to get it done. They can do that because they often have second jobs and barbing is a side hustle. You can't live on charging customers $10-20 per cut as a barber, except you are doing it as a side hustle. Finally, you can only serve a restricted market (Nigerians, and maybe some other Africans). You can't cut hair for Oyinbo people because you don't know how to manage their kind of hair, at least not yet. Most Oyinbo people won't even let you cut their hair because you have no knowledge of how to handle it. 2 Likes |

Good morning everyone. Please, I'm about to do a WES evaluation. Is it ok and advisable to do for both me and my spouse? Or just for me the principal applicant. I need all points. Thank you. |

Ruby99999: It's already at 476 for people with healthcare NOCs, see CRS trend on page 1 post 2 and the category based NOCs on page 1 post 4. For NOCs that are not in any of the select categories, no one knows for certain, do your best to increase your score where possible while you wait. |

The best option is to get additional qualification like MSc, PhD from a recognized uni or TEF (French) if you sabi your way like me, the real deal is to have the money to fund it. You can also keep waiting for this score to go down in the next two years, be wise. Ruby99999: |
