she probably started with a lower level cos of the ssce and rose to level 7 over the years. And with the new promotion rose to level 10, just like you rose from 8 to 12 with the new promotion

Did any of you listened to the NUT chairman's reasons for the 4k deduction on Nigeria info 92.3?.He said the money was to build NUT Secretariat,that they only me in a "bacha".

he was using NUT constitution to defend himself and saying the LGA NUT chairmen did not inform the teachers and that is not his fault. According to the constitution you are to contribute to raise fund for the building.

How many teacher do you have in the state?
Does not know the number of teachers in the state because some are retiring and some have retired.

When will the building be completed?
He say he doesnt know when the NUT building will be completed but very soon it will be roofed.

What is the.budget for the buiding?
Does not know the budget for the building at the moment.

How much do you get from goverment after deduction?
Does not know how much in total he receive from these deduction.

On number of deduction.
He said he has deducted twice 3000 last year 2022 and 4000 this year 2023.

LGA NUT chairmen on your behalf agree with the State NUT chairman to deduct 4000 naira from your salary.

Honestically:
Teachers have population advantage that if used in terms of populating the media with complains about non promotion, demands and general issues concerning the welfare of teachers, will force the government to always settle teachers' demand first before any other sector.

NUT will never speak for teachers but seek only ways of enriching their EXCOS. One of the problems of teachers in Rivers State is the NUT.

This signature should be for promotion, NUT deduction is bad but our focus now should be on promotion. Let's channel all our energy toward getting our promotional letter and its payment along side.

He was employed 2013 and was promoted to level 12 step 6 from level 8 step 3.
