MT: Dear Sir, I have a relative that migrated to the UK in the past 1 year. Already employed, paying their own bills and sending money home to their parents. How many 24 year olds are achieving that in Nigeria right now? I keep asking myself why people have to put out blatant LIES like this on a message board. You do realize that REAL PEOPLE travel to the UK and they can compare it with Nigeria? Good Luck to Nigeria 6 Likes 1 Share |

FreeStuffsNG: It’s hard for the white man also . But because he calls it home , he digs in and makes it work. You are divided - is Nigeria home or UK. If your heart is in Nigeria and head in UK then it’s hard. You cannot splurge like you have done all your life in Nigeria. Once you adjust to the system in UK, there is money to be made. 1 Like |

IbeOkehie: Bro I don tire. The witchcraft on this UK matter is second to none. Too many lies flying up and down like nylon in a rainy wind. These days I don't even advise folks to Japa any more due to their lack of mental adjustment, desire for short-termism gains, refusal to upskill amongst many other things. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Main focus of Nigerians is to get the citizenship. What they fail to realise is having citizenship alone does not translate to making money. The value you possess will determine how far you can go over there. Sadly, a Lizard in Nigeria wont turn to Crocodile abroad. A Lizard will always be a Lizard. 4 Likes 1 Share |

So you ran to uk and want to blow in a year? Keep Dey mumu yourself. Their citizens don’t have it all figured as majority are in loans & debts stuck with their jobs as well. Calm down, grow in the process, increase your expertise and skill set. Settle into the available roles while you chase the big dream cox the available ones are capped in such a way they will pay your bills and you can save if you are financially smart from naija. I have friends who never tried odd jobs and just transitioned into their dream jobs, some worked like mad hustlers without feeling entitled and have finally entered the door of where they want to be, the rest are still shooting hoping to land that dream job one day. If your plan is to enter and make all the money you invested in a year try MMM ooo cox only few people of their own citizens who are graduates are on 30k+ job roles while majority are on 22-25k so you wey be JJC No international experience or exposure you want to land 60K job easily without fighting like all depends on it just like that 🤨 2 Likes 1 Share |

guobe: It's not that they're more intelligent than us. But the thing is that their ancestors went across the world conquering and robbing innocent people. Upon that (and the most important) they changed the languages, education, Gods in other lands, so that those they conquered can never exceed them. Whoever gives you language, education, religion would control you, in fact, our psyche is being controlled right here in real time as we process our thoughts and communicate in the language they gave us. But it's not as if someone didn't foresee all these. Once the UK began nursing the idea of exiting the European Union, I set off an alarm bell warning Africans right here on Nairaland on what to expect. And that's exactly what's happening in the UK today. I made it clear that there's no way the UK can survive outside of the European Union without resorting to some sort of re-enslavment of black people. I've researched how they operate and fool people around the world and it was very clear to me from the beginning what they'll do. If you go back to my threads here you'll see warning posts or go to my blog www.africason.com and read the article that says "it's time to abolish the common wealth of nations". That's where I summarized what they're about. The British and French secret services traced me to Benin republic after I wrote that article- using black people!! The problem now is that when told let's be free indeed, let's reclaim our languages, education, religion, we refuse because they've messed up our minds in such a way that we're unable to see reality beyond what they've imposed. 2 Likes |

MT:Why do you guys compare a new immigrate to their home country that they have lived from birth. The comparison will be valid when you guys compare 5years in the UK to 5years in nigeria. Relocating from one state to another state in the same country without job is hard. |

teewhydope: How many? What percentage of your university classmates have jobs or businesses that afford them the world recognized middle class standard of living? I've said this over and over, I've seen paychecks for oil & gas field engineers in Nigeria....monthly paychecks from $30K up to $70K. These are people who live in Nigeria making $500K to $1million per year, a couple of them I know own homes in London and Switzerland and they've always lived in Nigeria. So I'm not going to EVER tell you that there's no Nigerians living well in Nigeria. The more relevant issue is HOW MANY Nigerians live at a globally recognized & reasonable middle class standard? Can you PLEASE give us a guess? It's not about YOU and ME, it's about the GENERAL state of things. I've written here about the fabulous pay of oil & gas field engineers in Nigeria. Now let me tell you some more stunning stats. Mighty Chevron Nigeria employs only 600 permanent staff in Nigeria. That's it, EVERYONE else working at Chevron is contract or temp staff. And the TOTAL employee count in the ENTIRE oil & gas sector in Nigeria is 65,000 people. That's it. Do the math and you find the mighty, well paying oil & gas industry that so many Nigerians salivate over, employs less than 0.01% of the Nigerian workforce of 80 million adults. So does it make sense to you to use those employed in that sector as a proxy for the overall wellbeing of the Nigerian populace? The stats are clear - Less than 0.4% of Nigerians earn over ₦200K per month, less than 7% of households have flush toilets, no single Nigerian has LEGAL OWNERSHIP of any lands. 99% of bank accounts contain less than ₦500K, unemployment is over 30%, interest rates are over 25% and on and on and on. Middle class standard of living - Access to clean, potable water supply - how many Nigerians have it? own a car or have access to clean efficient public transport - how many Nigerians have it? Access to stable electricity supply - how many Nigerians have it? The biggest university system in Nigeria shut down for almost one year, there's people queueing for petrol in the 6th largest exporter of crude oil? A country full of business geniuses that can't even refine their God-given crude oil? Look, I have friends that have been restaurant cooks, taxi drivers and care workers in this USA for over 30 years, they've done no other kind of work and they own homes, ALL their teenage children drive their own cars and some of the kids have gone on to own their own homes at age 25, 26. How many taxi drivers or cooks can do that in Nigeria? Abeg carry that nonsense commot here. Nairaland, the home of Nigerian REMOTE WORKERS and billionaires, non of whom can give us their real name or job. We know, Nigeria favors you and your family....leave those in the UK to suffer in peace. Carry go jor! Welcome to Next Level! 19 Likes 3 Shares |

Raalsalghul: You're talking 20 years when I've even forecasted till one million years ahead. If interested, enroll in my predatorlogy class or if you can't, then at least read everything on www.africason.com What's predatorlogy? Predatorlogy is a study of the predatory historical relationship between Africa and white people and how they re-colonize their former colonies today. Eventually, we're going to be completely re-enslaved in another name or we'll break free and instead rule the world forever. Those are the only two options ahead. They know it but they won't want us to know. 3 Likes 1 Share |
