Please you have do a breakdown of your expenses and your available funds to be certain the funds aren't enough.

Tuition for a one yr* =
Living exp = 10,000
Flight and Miscellaneous =5,000
Your N14mm is C$24,525.

How much have you paid from the tuition and how much is left?

Thank you for responding.

The 14m covers my remaining balance tuition, living expenses for 1year, flight ticket and Miscellaneous fee of 3k CAD

This was actually the situation before the recent change in dollar rates.

So it means I need to add more funds.

By your calculations, you used CAD dollar rate of 570 dollars.

The calculation I did is with 345 cad to Naira rate.

From what you said, the only available funds are the 14m in your acct.

Work out your pof.
Tuition for 2 years.
Living expenses and miscellaneous.

Then you will know the difference.
From this above, your 14m will certainly not be enough. So except you want to take your chances and show evidence of funds covering just one year tuition and 1 yr leaving expenses then allow your sop show possibly how your father being your sponsor can guarantee funds using rental income etc. That would be what the sop will do for you. So you need a strong one. Apart from that, your 14m wouldn't be enough.
As for your asset and economic ties, do you work or own a business? What docs do you have to support it.

I currently work and I also run a business.
I have my documents to back them up.

Which vfs office did you have your biometrics done and which are you using for submission/collection? For collection , you don't need to book an appointment. I went and collected in person coz at the point of submission, I opted for in person collection. Could it be that your email was started wrongly? Maybe you should gibe them more time.

Please I'm about submitting my passport to vsf
Abuja and I'm presently in Benin.

Is it possible for me to send it via courier and opt to collect it in person at the Abuja office?

Hello Chinny,
Did you book direct from Lufthansa site ?780 good rate.
Chinnychappy90:
Someone had advised I checked at night. I first got Lufthansa for about 1.250m booked and yet to pay. I checked again by the morning and got a different amount same day for about 780k and so I canceled the first booking and made this new reservation. I really cannot explain the reason for the change in price.

Hello house.
I would appreciate some help with my situation.

I applied for my visa in June and I got my PPR on the 4th of July. The next available appointment for passport submission is the 22nd of July which is pretty far away. Flight tickets are extremely expensive as it is, I’m considering booking the flight now even though I am yet to receive my visa. Should I go ahead and book the flight or wait till I receive the passport?

Also, I’d like some advice on how to get an affordable flight. The flights I’m seeing are ridiculously expensive. If anyone has any tips I would really appreciate it.
P.S I’m going to Halifax

Haa...book now if you can especially if you are starting in fall. I procrastinated and paid dearly for it.
Check priceline and choose your flight from there.

Madam will apply for SOWP
Children less than 5 will apply for Visit Visa
While Children above 5 will apply for Study permit.
You can go ahead and do your medicals, it is valid for a year. You will add the emedical sheet to the documents you submit during your application.

Access bit dot ly/viewtravelbuddies to meet travel buddies heading to your Canadian destination using same departure date so you can have a beautiful journey together & POssibly share airbnb, transport, information, accommodation, etc to save expenses in your first few days of landing. You can also view flyers that landed a day or more before you and landing after you at your location.

To enter your departure date, you can use bit dot ly/findtravelbuddy so others can see your departure date that automatically populates the spreadsheet in the post above. Kindly share link with friends to meet more people at location

First thing is, you need to start preparing your POF now, depending on your capacity, so that the account you eventually submit will not be subject to unusual transactions just before you submit. You will need at least 4 months statement.
Then the college you decide to apply to can depend on its location and the course you want to study. If you have been working for many years then you have to go for a course that relates to your present career. This will be much easier to explain, though you can also switch but you have to have strong application.
Now that you have a course in mind, and you hypothetically want to go to Ontario, you will have to use OCAS, which is a platform that has all the colleges in Ontario where you will submit your application, please note that you will need at least your student copy transcripts for admission. While you are doing this, you will be writing your SOP and gathering your other documents. So that by the time your admission is out, you would be ready to send your SP application.
You can also read the first page of this thread to get more information.

Thank you very much. Unfortunately I can't see this information anywhere.

Can I get the link to this info? At least to know the account number to pay to.

God bless you for your prompt response.

Good evening everyone
Please my second application just got refused under one week. First application refusal was as a result of the sudden increase in exchange rate. I added more funds and reapplied within a week, but unfortunately I was refused again under a week.
Now my problem is the POF, because I actually run it, and the one month will soon expire nd I need to return the money.
Please I need advice on what to do because I plan to apply again after some time, but my main issue now is how to go about this POF. Please I will need your advice on this.

Hello house,

I want to apply for another study visa after 2 refusals in 2018. Although I have requested for my GMCS NOTE. The issue I have is that am currently in Uk on study permit(with my family) and my visa expires in February 2024.

Please if am to apply do I need to travel back to Nigeria? Or has there be approvals from those that didn’t apply from there home country.
