Go to Facebook and see comments from some so called igbos hailing them and supporting the UGM.
Simon Ekpa himself is Igbo. Why are you blaming others?
hailing or not, where is the police and the military when this was going on ? What have you not asked that question?

Even here on nairaland, they blame other tribes for their inability to do the necessary.

They should enjoy their Monsters.
Nobody will shout witch-hunt as long as there's evidence as to why you are arresting the person

What exactly has Ohanaeze, Obi Ezekwesili, Peter Obi, and Iwanyawu said about this crisis?

Or are they oblivious to what's happening under their noses?
and what has the federal government done about it

Last time I checked, SE was still part of Nigeria until they are left to go

Idiot, if you claim not to know that Nnamdi Kanu is the chief instigator and the brain behind all of these unrest in the East, you must be a brain dead slowpoke. Anyways, I guess it's nobody's business, you guys should enjoy the party you all started.

That is it! When that hunchback albino pornster Nnamdi Kanu called those boys to carry arms against the State before he was apprehended, you people cheered him up. The FG went as far as smoking the Ipob terrorists supreme leader out of where he hid and called for mayhem against Nigerians, however all Igbos today are unanimously saying he should be free unconditionally.
By tomorrow when FG is able to pick that Ekpa from his hide out, the same Igbos accusing FG of doing nothing will start calling for his releases.
The easterners should stop their hypocritical support for the Ipob terrorists. Let Igbo leaders, traditional, political and business leaders call these their sons to order like the northerners did on issue of Boko Haram that we can hardly hear about them today.
The continued incarceration of KANU by the federal government, despite order of the court of competent jurisdiction quashing the charges against him, is the reason why SE is becoming ungovernable. Tinubu should obey the court

How biafra matter take concern Nigeria? Let dem destroy the whole region and kill themselves. When soldiers were sent there, they were the ones shouting genocide, these killers and destroyers gets cheered by these same people nah...Where are their prominent sons and daughters? Where are their governors? Senators, rep members and honourable? Traditional rulers, religious leaders? Where dem Psquare dey this time? They are chilling in Lagos grin Some can write letter to Biden but cannot write letter to their brothers? One even claimed they are not terrorist and they are his brothers, he lives with them and he cannot talk to them. where is the shipopo ezekweseli? They've all gone mute now? They will soon find their voice when dog barks in Lagos or benue. We don't have to worry too much about them, we don't have much stakes there.
If Biafra matter doesn't concern Nigeria, then you should as well tell Nigerian government to take away any semblance of her officialdom out of SE, to allow for self governance, because nature abhors vaccum

And so?
The governors are closer to the people. Inasmuch, they can't control the Armed forces. But the can discuss issues of insecurity with them. Especially with the police.
Lagos state is a perfect example.

KANU's vowed to make the south East ungovernable for Buhari's government led to his incarceration. It was same court of competent jurisdiction that set aside the order quashing the charges against him. The Ipob terrorists should let the court decides the fate of KANU. Their continue using terrorism to blackmail FG to free KANU will always back fire against the East.

Biafran citizens! Why must you give the nationality of our Shithole and Zoo to aliens? Buhari took steps to attack the security challenges but he was called names. Let this sword shred its scabbard completely into shreds then it'll know that life outside of the scabbard is not unlike going into the rain in the nude.

Many southern soldiers had lost their lives in Boko haram war! Even several Yoruba colonels. Though Igbos brought it on themselves but the truth is Nigeria was never fair to Igbos and SSterners.

There is no way the FG can intervene without there being human casualty. When that occurs, it is still Igbos on this space that will complain of their people being killed.

U are bloody anuofia. So because some igbos are praising UGM on Facebook now means that the whole Igbo race are supporting UGM? Didn't a lot of yorubas support Igboho ? It's only the yorubas that make stupid posts like this, the northerners who are more sensible than you and your people would never make these sort of posts

Read and understand properly before speaking, my post clearly said “some igbos…”
My post was addressing the claim that non-igbos are the ones behind UGM
I never said all igbos are supporting UGM , because I know many igbos that don’t even want biafra at all.
When you calm down to understand others, you will realize your outburst was all for nothing…. Take it easy oo bro

The SE Governors can declare a state of emergency and ask the C in C to send in the army with an unrestricted mandate. I can guarantee you there will be nothing like stay at home or even the burning of a dustbin. However will people not say that the army is an army of occupation?

You can't have your cake and eat it. Freedom will come with short term restrictions. A large number of SE people baked this cake themselves.

Or the SE should be allowed to leave the Federation like South Sudan.

Why does the Federal Government Of Nigeria led by President Tinubu feel less concerned over the economic terrorism and brigandage going in South East Nigeria ?

As the sit-at-home order issued by the Simeon Ikpa led Biafra Government in Exile AKA Auto pilot, continues, the brigandage and economic terrorism being visited upon the inhabitants of SE Nigeria by unknown gunmen has continued unabated as the federal government continues to look unconcerned.

Yesterday being the 6th of July 2023, at about 10pm Nigerian time, unknown gunmen set ablaze about 18 trucks conveying both humans and goods. As at the time of filing this report, our reporter hasn't ascertained if there was any loss of life.
