samlaura16: What I stated was simple and I well understood what you wrote. Likewise did you see the word “ever think”? Now that’s the word you should not. For you to even think you need to take those steps . No harm meant 🤷🏼♂️ |

Please house I need your advice. I applied for my visa on the 6th which was Thursday last week. Got appointment in abuja for medical on 10th monday which was yesterday. I tried booking for my biometric but the website was down from then all through the weekend. I managed booking yesterday when it started working ,I was given appointment on the 19th. From the visa slip,I am suppose to do the biometric within 14days of receiving the letter. Counting from that 6th that I got the letter, it will be 16days. I tried going to their office in abj to plead with them to,they said nothing can be done that I should wait for my appointment. I have not been comfortable since then. Have anyone experienced such. Should it be a thing to worry about? |

Firebox:They dont do that in Lagos. Me and one of the staffs almost removed each other’s head because of this 😂. It was on their notice board that I could do walk ins, but the guy insisted they dont , I asked him to see their notice board that it is boldly written on it. Omo Naso baba start to shout and other people had to intervene. So basically, please if you Dey Lagos, don’t try and do walk ins |

Please read the chats and conversations again. I read yours. No harm intended either. Just read and understand. If you have more information on the form, kindly give it as well. I believe everyone is here to learn, ask questions and get information before starting their process or while waiting. It’s normal for me to ask my agent just “in case” it’s necessary to submit the form, since I’ve not heard of it before. Please read it from previous chats. aodis: |

You applied July 6th right? If so; 19-6 = 13 days. Even if we add the 6th making it 14 days I think it’s still within 14 days since your application or did I miss something? utrills: 1 Like |

samlaura16: I thought they will send the test result directly to immegration ? |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by samlaura16: 6:02pm On Jul 11, 2023 |
They do. I got a mail when they sent mine to Australia Home Affairs. The mail just showed the day it was submitted and the name of the tests I did, not the result. But if you want a copy of yours to see the results as well. you have to mail them to request for it . I think some persons even see the doctor at IOM to confirm if their result is ok as I saw on a vlog on YouTube (Canada immigrant). If you go to Canada group on Naira land you will see such information too. tochi0155: |

Hello everyone, Please I want to inquire something, my agent said they will lodge my visa application tomorrow and my intake is august, they gave me one Form 956A in addition to the requirement to fill and send to them. my question now is will I get a notification once my visa application has been lodged? and will I also be able to track my application too since they are the ones lodging my application on my behalf. Thanks |

I'm sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing with your visa application. It can be frustrating when things don't go as planned. Since you've already visited the visa office in Abuja and they have advised you to wait for your appointment, it seems like they are not able to make any exceptions to the biometric requirement. In such cases, it's best to follow their instructions and attend the appointment on the 19th, as scheduled. It's possible that the delay in scheduling your biometric appointment was due to technical difficulties with the website. Don’t worry, These issues are beyond your control, and it's important that you explain the situation to the officials during your appointment during your appointment. In any case, it's always a good idea to follow all the procedures and regulations set by the visa office. If you have any further questions or concerns, it may be best to reach out to the visa office or your agent directly for more specific advice regarding your situation. 1 Like |

utrills:Nothing to worry about. Just attach a note to your Immi account stating why you couldn't get the biometric done within 14 days. Relax and enjoy while you wait for the grant of your visa. |

Good morning All Please I need your advice. I asked my agent to apply for my visa since Monday of this week. This is Wednesday and all she has done it fill in my details and saved it. I have tried calling her to find out what the delay is but she isn’t responding. Do you advice I proceed with the application or still wait for her? Also on the part where it’s written “Is this family member currently stateless?” She selected Yes. Please is the right selection because I have asked her to explain why she chose yes and she isn’t saying anything. |

Do we have anyone in the house that has flown the Ethiopian Airline - Air India route to Australia? Were you asked for transit visa in New Dehli airport? It seems to be the cheapest route for now. Please help out with the information ASAP. Thanks |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by NB1912: 4:14am On Jul 12, 2023 |
Ernest93:Regarding your first question, i believe your agent is waiting for her manager or superior to check all the information entered are correct and ensure all the documents required have been provided. This is a standard procedure. Is any of your family member stateless? If no, then your agent needs to change the response immediately. |

NB1912: I don’t think she’s waiting for her supervisor to cross check anything. She sent me the summary of my application to cross check for any mistakes. The mistakes I pointed out hasn’t been addressed. I just feel she’s relaxed about the whole thing. This lady in question is Australia herself. I’m guessing her own studies and personal issues isn’t giving her the time to conclude my application. She replied my chat this morning saying she will upload my documents and then I will proceed to making payment but she hasn’t done that yet. I just want to know if it’s something I can by myself cause it seems I’m bothering her. I wanted her to do it because I didn’t want to make any mistakes myself but at this rate, I’m beginning to get worried about my application. Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you |

If the agency you're using has a track record of visa success, your best bet is to wait for her to do it for you, so you won't make avoidable mistakes. I understand the fact that you're agitated, but if what you're looking for at the end of this whole stress is a visa grant, one or two more days of patience won't affect anything. After your agency has logged the visa application, check youtube for videos on how to import your visa application, so that you also can be able to monitor the progress of your application from your end. NB: Average wait time still remains 8 weeks or even more, with the look of things now. Ernest93: |
