flourishing247: Yes she paid 3k just for hospital and 1,200 also to the doctor. I don’t know if paying the discount will sort this issue out |

Landegold:I didn’t fly Airfrance as a preggy but Airfrance is shitty, klm is better, if you can switch to klm since they’re sister companies it’s better especially because you’re pregnant and you don’t need the stress. |

I'm a PhD student with full funding(in mathematics). The school also gave me health insurance but it will kick in when I get to the school and register. The school will also pay me every month as a teaching assistant. I just got my visa to travel to the US. I'm currently 6 months pregnant. Will I be denied entry by a POE officer because I'm visibly pregnant? My husband has saving of over 10k in his dom account in Nigeria. Should he print his statement and give me to travel?. What will i say in case immigration notice I'm pregnant. Someone said that they will let me in because I have F1 visa and that my programme is for 5yrs. I will be traveling by August. Please I need suggestions. |

Plebes89:My personal opinion is that you’re good, and if questions arise, which may not, just show them you have funds to cater for yourself till the insurance kicks in, which is by resumption in August. 2 Likes |

Plebes89: I don't think your being pregnant should raise any red flags. But you can print out your husband's dom account statement as a backup. Carry go, nothing do you 😁 2 Likes 1 Share |

Good morning everyone. Please my sister is in the US and she has been waiting for her baby's passport for a while now. They're telling her 7-9 weeks for expedited. Is anyone else experiencing this? |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by dere5: 5:49am On Jul 14, 2023 |
moyinoluwalope: Pls anyone who used this service should shed some light on how easy and possible it has been for them to renew their visas. |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by dere5: 5:53am On Jul 14, 2023 |
Landegold:I think it is airline specific. Some airlines i understand accept the one from your doctor, while others insist on the one from Port health, so you just have to find out which is acceptable by your airline |

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Debbieeeeeee: 2:19pm On Jul 14, 2023 |
Onegai:She should call +18774872778 tell them the date on her ticket, they will give her an appointment at the closest agency to her and depending on how close her travel date is, she can get her baby’s passport same day or the day after. I got my baby’s passport the next day at the agency. 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Onegai(f): 4:28pm On Jul 14, 2023 |
Debbieeeeeee: Thanks, she tried that. Her state doesn't have a Passport Agency and the 2 agencies close to her didn't have appointments available till next year. She tried another method and they told her to either pay an Expediter ($700 for 2 weeks' turnaround, minus passport fees) or wait till 7 days to her flight then contact them. |

Please can I get any info on Visa on Arrival or ETC for baby? I contacted an NIS officer and he told me N265,000 for visa on arrival for the baby. How does one apply for it, what documents should be submitted please? My sister needs some help. Thanks in advance. |

Hi everyone, I applied for B1 Visa for conference since 2021 and the interview date I saw at that time was October 2023. I chose a date in October and it's coming up but the conference is past. Should I find another conference in the USA and refill the Ds-160 form again then use it on the appointment or I should I cancel the appointment? Also, if I'm to refill the DS-160 form, should I pay for another visa or still use the old payment I made? I don't want to miss any conference in the US in near future |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Onegai(f): 3:22pm On Jul 18, 2023 |
Akinrayo: Hello There are expediting companies affiliated to the Passport Agencies. You can Google or go to USPS to get one. It's best to use the one affiliated with the passport agency (which is usually the top result in Google search). They have different prices for different return times. |
