I guess that’s almost everyone goals here. Like my boss glitchronix that need to raise money for his electronic business. He may drive for the next ten year to get the money, does mean driving is what he is passionate about.

This flow is honestly make me to laugh. Felicity is an acclaimed cars seller, just as cosmos maduka do sells too. That does put them on same level.

You are always saying different things grin

I did not ask anybody if they are passionate about anything. I have not even put earnings in any of my comments

I did not say anything comparing two different individuals.

All what you typed is not even part of what i said.

I have shown you my quote i am responding to, and fortunately, we both have gotten to a point I agree with.

I am not hitting any thing off point. This is the comment i decided to start commenting from. Please take note of the bolded. I did not want to quote him because he has ended his submission

1) If you cannot say you are an Uber driver in a circle, it means you need to leave the hustle. A driver is a job and legitimate profession. If you are ashamed to say it, because you know you are better than it, walk away

2) Drivers will always be below the job hierarchy in any country. Is it every Nigerian that insults or looks down on drivers? Which respect do they give Uber drivers abroad rather than "Hello, Hi, Thank you, Have a nice day"?. Which kind respect person dey find, wey e wan prefer driving for abroad than Nigeria? If he said money, I would agree...But respect....? Funny

3) People will look down on drivers because he is a driver. Even the person that typed this will look down on a Danfo driver. A driver is a driver. You cannot have PHd and be a driver, then expect to be highly respected, or respected differently. You are a driver.

So, if driving does not give you the recognition or respect you think you deserve, just walk away, or go abroad where they adore drivers.

I have not said anything off point. That's the quote i decided to respond from

I don't agree that drivers aren't respected.
Like I said before, respect isn't giving because of the job u do.
Yes people with low morals or who lack basic home training may disrespect others if they perceive they are better off. I don't disrespect my security or even the aboki that sells condemn. So this idea of making it a norm that drivers should not be respected simply because they are drivers is wrong, and that's genesis the problem with society.
Everyone should be respected first as a human being then by virtue of age, influence, position etc.
I will not respect you more if u were a banker or worked in an oil company or for a govt agency. So if I come to ur shop, I respect you and u respect me. I can refuse to offer someone a service if I feel I am not respected, it's my own prerogative. I can also stop patronizing someone if I feel d person doesn't respect me.
As for friends and neighbors, it's ur business if u want to tell them what u do, nobody is under any obligation. I think society builds pressures on us that we are all trying to keep up with.
But for me, I don't profile people, I don't rate anyone, I no send anybody, I give everyone the respect they deserve. And that's the way it should be.

Currently am looking to buy a land so that money doesn't keep depreciating imagine putting my money in access bank and I got 40k interest when Dem lie give me for bank say na 6percent monthly . Hello bosses,

I just got a tokunbo Camry 2014 3 months ago from US for personal use. Please, can I use my new car for this hustle?

Kindly note that I'm a 9 to 5 person. I intend using it for hustle in the evening after work and weekend.

What platform (Bolt/Uber/Indriver/Rida/others) is best for a part time driver like me)?
I intend driving within the Island alone as I stay in Lekki Phase 1.
Is it worth it?
Please, advise me appropriately. Thank you everyone

Yes u can; Uber, Bolt or Indrive

But what will be more profitable is doing altleast one to and fro trip to d mainland before you retire for the night.
Select extremely where you go to, before u go and carry repairs of 50k on a 5k trip.

Whether it's worth it will be left for you to determine when u see the returns.

All d best

Drivers, cleaners, etc have a certain respect they can command. It is what it is, and i totally agree with the man that says so. Even pope agrees that there are certain places your Uber driving profession would embarass you.

So, i understand how polite and humble you are. Sadly, you are just 1 out of hundreds of millions

I just pepper sprayed one uselesss local government enforcer that wanted to arrest me illegally.

He claimed I stopped at Obalende under bridge roundabout, meanwhile I was just trying to find the entrance to NNPC

That’s how the idiot entered my car and held my gear and wouldn’t let go.

Omo I emptied the whole pepper spray into his eyes, until he had no choice but to leave my car.

Nigeria is just full of illegality men

Why claim I stopped when I’m moving slowly?

Why hold my gear instead of a ticket with a fine?

No doubt u can make alot of money in Nigeria but u need infomation and huge capital to start a good business.
On d flip side, if u carry 5m go abroad, and it click for u, in 5years time u fit buy or build house for Lekki without sweat.
That's something u wouldn't be able to achieve all things being equal if u remained in Nigeria with ur 5m.
The difference is value for labour, exchange rate, Inflation, standard of living, quality of life.

Men we all have to be careful sha.

Me I’m a huge fan of LAW and Order, but not some rifraff with no uniform, just orange shirt telling me I did something I didn’t.

We should ALWAYS, ALWAYS, make sure our doors are locked.

I wasn’t even picking someone at the roundabout but trying to enter NNPC, but the entrance at the roundabout is an “OUT”, and I saw a car coming out so had to pause/give way for that car to come out, it was in that instant that he claimed I stopped, imagine such illegality.

Me that I have malaria and just trying to earn, you come and hold my gear? Bastard!!

The only downside is that my pepper spray has now finished, because I used everything on that guy men.

It’s funny how pepper spray turns all these so called hard neegahs into pusssies.

See the guy wey wan break my gear, come find in way outside my car by inself, body come Dey tell am say, “something is not right”, as the pepper spray took effect, mtcheew.

Even my whole hand is still paining me now, cause the spray touched my hand, then I wonder what the bastard would be feeling in his eyes right now.

I don’t just understand how someone will enter your car and tel you you’ve broken law because you were trying to enter filling station, claiming that you stopped, bastard!!!
