ojesymsym:for the sake of clarity, I bought: 3m units at 33k = N990,000 6m units at .40k = N2,400,000 Total Purchase Price = N3,390,000 Sold all the 9m units at 85k = N7,650,000 Less: purchase price = N3,390,000 Profit excluding transaction charges is N4,260,000 I bought the stock between16 - 30 May and sold by 4 July this year (2 months interval) Sincerely speaking, All through my trading in NGX, I have made money from penny stocks more than stocks with fundamentals. transcorps is another example. But stocks with fundamental like dangote sugar and UBA that I bought for N19 & N10 since may is yet to return 50%. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

emmanuelewumi:...having briefly touched 66k mark on 11/07, the NSE All share index now formed a bearish engulf similar to same price actions that occurred btw 03/07 - 04/07. On Wednesday 05/07 we saw reversal. My projection is price to dip to 60k - 62k then we await price actions for possible upward reversal. 1 Like

BullBearMkt: That was almost my reply to his post yesterday. Today and tomorrow will be bearish. Maybe from next week, we can start looking for catalyst for upward reversal. Earning season fast approaching.Time for FA to dominate and control the market than TA and SA has done in the past. |

FMDQ LAUNCHES FIRST ETD OF ITS KIND I was there yesterday representing my firm. It was colorful. The platform is for DM and TM only. We have the following as the DM: 1 . Access Bank 2. Zenith Bank 3. Wema bank 4. Sterling Bank 5. Stanbic IBTC Aside this, we have 17 firms of TM of which my firm is one. The derivatives are: 1. Federal Government Bond futures 2. Dollar-Naira FX non deliverables contracts. The underlying Asset for the first derivatives product are basket of FGN Bonds ranging between maturity of 2 years and 30 years The second product has $/Naira as the underlying assets We will get there The asset class is just derivatives. Just like you make gaaari from cassava. Gaaari is derivatives while cassava is the underlying asset. Like I said earlier FMDQ now have two separate markets for trading Federal Govt Bond and currency. One is spot market where you can actually buy and sell govt bonds ranging from 2 years to 30 years. The second is FX market where you can buy and sell FX. To hedge those risk attached to those instruments In cash market, then derivatives market was introduced Not that that is only two instruments that can be traded on FMDQ spot market, we have several of them. Only that two derivatives were picked to start with. To deal in those two instruments, you must be extremely good in forecasting interest rate and FX. It is a big market that can run into trillions in a day transaction in the future if they get it right. Just like NGX, FMDQ is the exchange where those cash market and derivatives market instrument are traded Just like CSCS, FMDQ called their own CCP and it is called FMDQ Clear Just like CSCS that combined both clearing and depository together, FMDQ separate their own and have another segment called FMDQ Depository Just like a stockbroking firm whose is a dealing/Brokerage firm is called in NGX, the trading participants in FMDQ is called trading member Just like each stockbroking firm has a bank that settled trade, FMDQ called it’s own is called Dealing member and they settle futures trade. But remember, the minimum amount to trade with is N50,000,000 of which your initial margin is 10% deposited in your margin account 5 Likes |

FBNH STOCK PRICE DECLINE PROVIDES BETTER BUYING OPPORTUNITIES The recent fall in FBNH's stock price, descending from 23.50, presents an enticing opportunity for investors/traders to align their interests with those of Oba Otudeko by acquiring FBNH shares. The price is anticipated to stabilise btw 16 - 17.40 level. However, the ongoing skirmish involving Eco Bank, FBNH, and Otudeko raises a pertinent question: Could this conflict cast a shadow over FBNH's stock price? Only time will tell.
