You don't because snakes have swallowed all the money.

Oga, first off, I don't back APC, never voted for them, and am just as angry with them as you are.

But the fact is, even if we took all the money that Aso Rock is spending in one year plus the entire budget for the National Assembly and paid for subsidy, it won't make a dent in the estimated costs for subsidy for this year, should we keep it.

We are at point zero, and we don't have any effing choice. If Obi was in charge and removed subsidy, or even Atiku, and they did not bring palliatives, I would be saying the same thing I am saying here.

Welcome to reality. You don't have to love it, or to like it. You can even say it does not exist. But there it is.

Palliative for 12million families in a country where over 80million live on one dollar a day! Who will take care of the rest? It's even more annoying because they will still steal the palliative

Also, the fact that they are cutting subsides shows they don't have the money to keep paying for subsides

We did the same in Nigeria for many years, and now we are at a debt level that makes our continued taking of loans high risk. If we had kept fuel at N65 since 2012, we would have long since run out of money.

Does not matter whether you think you are a member of Homo Divinus, Nigeria, even if we did not do corruption and vote for APC, can't pay for subsides no more. I don't like it, it makes me angry, it pisses me off , but there's anger and there is cold reality.

I can shout all day at Mount Everest, but it won't break down that mountain.
Egypt have many things working perfectly and can even afford to remove fuel subsidy totally.

Egypt is self sufficient in electricity. They don't rely on small generators to power their homes and businesses.

Egypt also have many refiniries that working.

CORRUPTION is the problem with Nigeria, not subsidy.

Egypt also has a diversified economy, we have a one trick pony economy that relies on oil and oil alone.

Also, Egypt cut power subsides years ago.

It is not for individuals but households. So, a family of 4 is given 266 naira to share between themselves.

Yes, individual family I met ... 12million families , 60 Million indirectly individuals.

There is no amount govt can share that will ever meet the needs of people based the fact that things are extremely difficult in Nigeria.

what the govt actually did was to divide the $800, 000 by 12Million but came out to be very little. They need to do something extraordinary.
