Your total pension contribution can only buy 2 corolla. Ehhh God.

Just keep encouraging drivers, do what u can to help people, that's noble and I celebrate u for that. But the moment u start downgrading and tarnishing drivers, u will get a response, whether u quote me or not.

Thunder go fire some people for this thread. The kind of lie they say just to prove a point is mind boggling.
I know Korope drivers who are shuttling between one mech to another and I know others who are doing so well with 5 mini buses of their own bought all Toks. One of them even showed me his 4 bedroom bungalow.

Everybody's experience in a particular hustle can't be the same, so trying to generalise your experience in a particular hustle as being reflective of everyone's experience in it is wrong.

I can't count the number of times I've seen him make similar requests on indrive.
It is either he's a criminal or a driver that just wants to frustrate unsuspecting drivers.
I just people have not been accepting his false requests sha.

Funny thing is, if you don't get external funds and you still rely on daily money from driving, you will still goan pick that girl as a graduate when she's done. Either una accept am or not, nobody dey grow in this hustle, you will just be a living thing... One small car issue can chop all your one month profit.

This talk no be lie...

God will help all legit hustlers

In case you didn't really understand, let me elaborate further for you. What I was saying in essence is, this job collects from you as much as it gives you. You aren't taking anything out of it if you are not careful. The tool you use for the job is a very delicate one.

Lemme break it further... For a teacher that earns let's say 100k a month... You can easily plan your life around that 100k and live fine to your standard. Your school principal or proprietor is not taking from that money. You don't buy chalk nor duster out of it. But this hustle, I bet there is none of us that calculates our gross and remove maintenance money before declaring our nets.... Once you remove BOLT commission and Fuel money, all the rest is your net and you spend all on whatever you want... The day ordinary tyre will burst, you will start begging your friends for money to buy a new one... Okada will remove your mirror, headlamp will break, bumper will remove, battery will die, shock will burst... All these money will come out from where?

Even a Carpenter will use one hammer for years before he buys another one. But you, you are always repairing your tool here n there.

sad

You're not far from the truth...

I can't imagine how much I have expended this year on car maintenance, if I'm to put it into calculations, I've spent almost 500k on maintenance this year, i know some people will doubt this figures but that's just the truth....

Day before yesterday, I just spent a whooping 80k while I just planned to spend 50k

On a normal dey if person use better tool for the business no how person no go make profit. I know person wey buy this transporter bus he drove it himself he bought it last year him don realize the money wey him buy the bus within a short period of time within a year him dey hardly visit mechanic he's planning on buying another vehicle if person no succeed for one business no mean say other people no go succeed for the business

Everybody's experience is not the same. I know this because I have a couple of cars on the platform.

Some vehicles can be very much trouble free.

Excluding oil, I have only spent N56,000 maintaining a particular one the whole of this year. I also have others that are cash guzzlers in varying degrees. If it's not the kick starter dying today, it will be the brake calliper failing tomorrow or the fan belt cutting, AC and engine issues or other myriad of problems.

I was even planning to fully exit the business by October but with the recent increase in car prices, I have suspended the plans. Who knows, maybe I get to sell the cars at 4m each next year.

Hold on to the key phrase "paying him better"

So why do u want to twist it to mean Uber wasn't profitable for him?

If I reply u the way u deserve u will cry.

I don't see any insult if I tot his dad was a cab man. Cos I don't see it as an insult if someone calls me an Uber driver.

If people (including u) have refused to address issues without insulting personalities, I will also make my address and include personalities. So thread carefully.

The way some drivers are always ready to defend and show the good working side of ehailing business even without being asked shows that there is something wrong with the business.

A good business or work doesn't need constant affirmation.

If a child bites an adults buttocks without fear for shit, the adult will bite the babies nose without fear of catarrh.

I have been begging people to allow drivers be on this platform but a group of people whose dick only stands when they are in the midst of drivers will not listen. If u or anyother person even but draws a breathe (talkless of speak) and I feel it's offensive to drivers or me by extension, I will give it back to d person anyway I please. Enough is enough.

Nobody can make me feel inferior... Bolt /Uber is not my father's company, one day ,we will all leave either by circumstance or decision. But ,when we are addressing issues, let us have that moral restraint not to insult parents or cast aspersions when we talk about someone's parent.
Haha.. that's not good.
